This is a good cover for the iPad. I had one of these covers on my iPad Air2 and it’s still in good condition after three years. The cover is easy to attach and folds so I can watch videos without holding it with my hands. Definitely protects the screen as I’ve dropped the iPad at least twice and no damage to the screen. It did drop on a carpet so I didn’t expect any damage.

I like my smart cover. It's light and not bulky and holds the positions quite nicely.

It's basically the smart cover, just in leather. So if that is worth the premium to you, I'd say go for it. I bought an open box and it works well. Light, and well designed. The only quibble is that the section connecting the magnetic hinge to the cover is a little long, so the cover skews a lot more than previous smart covers I've had when folded back.

The Smart Cover fits perfectly on the iPad. Leather cover feels good and looks very elegant.

The color is a dark Navy blue. It's pretty. Holds up well and is useful as a stand. I like the leather texture as it's soft and natural feeling. Hasn't work poorly over the year I've owned it. Still in good condition despite lots of use.

I am a minimalist at heart so I don’t like a lot of bulk of my iPad or iPhone for that matter. This covers the screen without adding too much book so I really like that plus the weather is very high-quality. Have to wait and see how it holds up over time. I doubt it will add any protection to the iPad if I drop at; that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.

This cover offers protection for the screen and allows the user to prop up the iPad for video watching. Very well made and highly recommended.

I wanted something sleek, not bulky. Just wanted to protect the screen and take advantage of the Smart Cover. It does that very well. This is not to protect from dropping.

Perfect for the iPad. Fits like a glove. Adds very little thickness or weight to the iPad. I prefer this to a folio or keyboard for just those reasons. If you want to use your tablet as a tablet and not a laptop, this is the perfect cover. (Bought as an open box - discounted - no issues - like new)

I always loved the quality of Apple Leather cases/covers for iPhone and iPad. This is no different. Dont expect total protection with a display cover. Its meant to protect the display and double as a stand.

As with any leather product this will look better aged. Looking forward to seeing it broken in. Great product!

A bit overpriced, but looks and feels great when placed on the ipad pro.

The Apple cover is great. I just preferred the leather case case that covered the back panel of the iPad.

I purchased this for my gift and it looks super on the new iPad. It gives it a great feel and look. It also protects this expensive gadget. I wish I could find a 9.7 size for my iPad.

Nice cover that folds over to prop up my iPad nicely. Very sleek design that visually looks good too. Despite it being thin, it doesn’t seem that it wouldn’t do a good job at protecting the screen

The leather quality of this leather case by Apple is spectacular. The magnet holds extremely well. Fits the iPad very well. No funny smells like the fake eBay covers. Spectacular quality! Highly recommended. AAA+++

It works as advertised but it’s a little overpriced for what you get. A complete case with full coverage of the device would be much better.
