Three things I like about the apple smart cover: 1- it does not make the ipad too bulky, it is slim 2-it attaches itself and stays in place 3- it triggers the ipad to sleep when the cover is closed. Not all covers do that and it runs the battery down. The one thing I don't like about this cover is that it doesn't protect the back. I wish apple would make a smart case for the 12 inch ipad.

Picked this up to protect the screen of my ipad pro while also having a stand. I liked the ipad mini 2 case apple made for it better, as it protected the front and back. This was $80 for half the protection... You can find products that protect the full ipad for a fraction of the cost online. Some may enjoy this for a while but the back is totally exposed to scratches and other possible damage.

There's nothing like leather apple Smart Cover. The silicon just didn't do it for me. But this one looks and feels great. Plus it's black and really looks beautiful.

Nothing works better than an accessory made by Apple. I wish they made a case for the whole iPad.

The Apple leather covers are the best. The off brands are never as nice. Just wished the leather ones weren't so pricey.

No protection if you drop it other than on the screen itself. Minimal footprint though which has advantages. Seemed expensive for what you get.

This is an apple product so it is premium quality. I think this is a must have for any iPad. It provides protection to the screen, without adding too much bulk.

One of the best covers there is second to none. Been in use for couple of years design is perfect. Magnet should be slightly stronger.
