This product is perfect for those of us who hate taking the cases off of our iPhones. The adapter cable fits nicely into the bottom of the iPhone and connects easily to all of the products which still use the old 30-pin plug. I would definately recommend this to friends and users of any new apple product.

I bought this product because my car came with an audio interface cable that has a 30 pin connector, but I have an iPhone with lighting connector. It worked perfectly and added a few of extra inches of length to the audio interface cable. My car is a 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-250W.

If you have an older iPod connection in your vehicle, this adapter will allow you to continue to play music on newer iPhones that require a lightning connection.

I you have a docking station for Apple and it is the old 16 pin do not forget to get this adapter. I like this better than the short little plug in as I feel that could snap off easily if bumped. This one works very well and you don't have to worry about and damage to the station or the Apple product.

I originally got this for my Bose player. The sales associate said it is a little more expensive to get the longer adapter but it is well worth it! He was right. It is convenient because then your phone can be laying on a dresser. Spend the extra money for the longer cable and you will be happy you did!g

This product is awesome! I have a Jetta 2010 and my doc for my iPod does not work for my new iPhone 6. After buying this product I can now play all my music on my phone in my car! The sound is perfect and has no static at all. It's worth to pay the extra money instead of getting the off brand kinds.

Does exactly what it is designed for. Allows me to use my Bose and Panasonic sound docks with my new iphone 6S (they only have the wide plug for iphone 4s). Also allows me to use the multitude of chargers I bought for the perviously mentioned iphone 4s. I will probably buy a second one.

i bought this item to make my iphone Se work with my Alpine 305S deck with the alpine 30 pin cable and it plugs in and alpine sees the iphone and all the stuff works great and it was cheaper then buying the alpine lighting cable for the alpine deck wroth buying.

If you have any devices that have the iPhone 4S fixed connector, this product is the DEAL. Audio and charging now work in my car and amplifiers which have 4S only connections. If you use an Otter Box, you need this because the cord is long enough to connect through the case. Love this!

I upgraded my iPhone 4 to an iPhone 6+ not thinking that the adaptor in my truck will need to be upgraded as well. This cable saved me lots of money by not having to upgrade my radio in my vehicle. It took all of 30 seconds to connect and I was listening to my favorite music in a snap.

Well you can't go wrong buying apple for apple. This connector works great. Its always comforting knowing I can come to Best Buy and know a product is on the shelf, works, and ready for me to buy. I used the online pick up at the store option, so it made the purchase that much faster.

You have to be wary that non-Apple accessories will be fine for charging, but not for anything beyond that (playing music for example). I was not aware of that initially and went the cheapskate route (non-Apple), which I quickly regretted. This is the real deal with full functionality.

Being cheap I ordered four non apple cords in great colors from an online comeptetor the big A. All cords have frayed and are broken. This is the one apple I purchased as a backup. No issues held together. Way too expensive to buy three of them but you get what you pay for apparently.

I really find this adapter better than the smaller one without the extended cord. I had a case that I had to take off when I plugged in my old adapter, but with this one I don't need to take my case off. It would've been nice if my iPhone came with one of these, but it is what it is.

My husband's car had an old i-phone 4 power cord built in. When we updated his phone, we needed some sort of conversion wiring. This adapter works great and it was a lot more reasonably priced than going to the car dealer and getting a new power supply!

This is an easy adapter to use with your iPhone, newer iPod and Bose docking system. Simply take out of the package and plug it in no mess no cords. Great sound. It is also nice when a product does what is promised.

I originally bought this adaptar to use in my car, but realized it could be used instead of the smaller adapters Apple has made. It can be used with the bulky iPhone otter box cases without the hassles of having to take the whole case off which in my opinion is the biggest plus.

The connection for the 2008 Mini Cooper is perfect. You can listen to your Itunes music in your car stereo. The only thing that you can't do is charging at the same time; that is due to the Mini stereo system. Other than that, it works great.

Needed to connect the in car adapter to the new iPhone 6, and the usual adapter didn't work with the new case, which has a small flap to get to the lightening connector. This is just the thing - adapter and extension on a short cable that works just fine. Problem solved!

I tried the adapter without a cable but it would not work with my iPhone 6 in a minimal case. I returned it and am using the 30-pin adapter cable which works well. I wish it were a little longer; the 3 foot is too long but six inches is a little short. One foot, or a coiled cable, would be better.
