I was surprised at how well it works and allows me to continue using the docking station. Because of the changes I hav not been able to use my docking station and I have missed having my music at my finger tips. One draw back, I have the iPhone 6 Plus and I have to make sure it is on there carefully.

Excellent design and product by Apple now no need to replace your hometheater Jack to Iphone 5/6 compatible. Just plug in and use your iphone 5/5S/6/6+ to your existing cable and enjoy. Thank you bestbuy.

Adapter won't work on a phone in a life proof case, stem not long enough.

Great device to use to transfer pics from an SD card to your iPad or iPhone.

This Apple attachment for my iHome clock radio, with the old large multi pin connection, was useless for recharging my newer tiny pin iPhone 5. This attachment works like it should and is very simple to use. I can now charge my phone again whilst I listen to music and doze off.

I purchased the Apple adapter mainly for its compatibility with devices. There are several products that look similar, but if you read the fine print, you will see "does not transfer audio" in the specs. This product does not have that limitation. I have used this with my dock station, alarm clock device, and an audio adapter I have in my car, which all work flawlessly.

The one with the wire is better than this one it's worth the extra money

Product works. Third party adapters tend to stop working after a few uses.

I was doing something a little different by placing my iPhone or my iPod connection actually goes in my vehicle. It worked for the purposes that I needed and I am now able to listen to music through my phone as opposed to my iPod. It does not charge the phone through the radio or my vehicle but I only needed it to play my music.

It works fine for music and charging. It would be nice if it would play video through the adapter as I like to watch my own videos when I work out at the gym and the cardio machines only use the old 30-pin adapters. So I still have to keep my old iPod touch solely for watching video at the gym.

So far I haven't had issue with this charger adapter, the real problem is the need for new chargers every time a new Apple product comes out. The quality so far is really good as I have had issues with non name brand knock offs. Spend the extra money to get the Apple product even though it hurts to do so.

I needed a male "lightning" to "30-pin" female adapter to use with an older Bose Sound Dock that has a "30-pin" male receptacle built-in because I have an iPhone 6S that uses an "lightning" system. The tunes are as clear as they were using the old iPod "30-pin" system.

It was rather difficult to find this item in the store as the signage was very unclear and many of the representatives were unfamiliar with the new location of items. Once I decided to go to the customer service desk, I was directed to the correct place to find the adapter which was as noted above perfect to adapt my iphone 4 chargers to the newer iphones.

I would like/use it more if I didn't have to take my case off to use it.

If you like to maximize some of your purchases and not have to recycle things simply for the heck of it, this may be a device for you. Since I have a device that uses the old connection as well as one that uses the new, this allows me to continue to get value from my old cords -- especially useful for one that was hard-wired in the car.

This works great with my iphone 6s. I bought 2 of these so i could have one in my car that had built-in older style (30 pin) iphone connection. Works well but i have to remove it from my otterbox case. I also use with my older model iHome alarm clock. Again, the otterbox makes this a pain. The device itself works great.
