My new ipod was not compatible with my existing Bose docking station which does not have blue tooth capability. Used this adapter to connect and works like a charm.

this works well in my car - so that my husband could charge his old Ipod - now we have computers, phones, etc that usse the Lighning end.

I used this adapter all the time so I didn't have to switch all my charging and iPhone music devices.

Can detach easily if phone is moved too much. Cable is short so get the longer cable version if thinking may be a concern for you.

I use this to charge my iPhone in an older clock-radio docking device. It allows me to use the older system with the current IPhone.

This adapter proves to be very useful with some of my older 30 pin devices. I hate to see some good products go to waste (speakers, chargers, etc.) and this really does the trick!

Good product. It adapts my iPhone 4 cube to accept my iPhone 5 for playing music or recharging. The adapter can be removed easily so guests that have the iPhone 4 can use it also.

Needed this adapter that allows me to play my 7th generation iPod inside a vehicle we recently purchased (had the old style connector). This allows me to play my favorite music.

Works good,, but the lightning connector is bigger then the original lightning cable. Does not fit with most cases. Do not get if you use a case.

I have bought several after make adapters and this one is the original part. I had no luck with the aftermarket adapters, but this original part works perfectly and should last.

Good item that I needed but it does cost a lot. Apple charges a premium because the other products like it don't really work

The adapter performs exactly as described. I am able to use my speakers with my iPhone 6S by connecting through this little gadget. Great find and reasonably priced.

I was thinking I would have to buy a new radio alarm clock that has an updated port for my iPhone. Thankfully I read reviews about the adapter which helped me.

Bought a car with built in iPhone put stereo but it was older plug in bought this plugged it up hooked up phone sounds great!

Purchased this adapter for my wife's car kit. Does not work with any of the cases either of us have on the iPhone 6. Will be returning it

Does exactly what I need. Only complaint is that it doesn’t work with cases on your phone. Not a huge problem.

I got this adapter to connect a thunderbolt based ipad/iphone to my car. This is definitely a good buy over the cheaper adapter available elsewhere by enabling both charging and media device connectivity at the same time (some of the cheaper ones don't charge the device at all). But I believe this is priced too high (over 3 times). With other connectivity solutions like bluetooth available on most devices, decide well before you buy this.

I own a Kia Forte they have a special cord for hook up but did not have an adapter from cord to Ipod it needed an adapter. Best Buy had the product available for a great price.

This adapter is excellent for any IHome radio or unit which does not offer the charger dock for the new I5 or newer IPhones - easy to install and use
