I find this device very handy when I am using an older dock that doesn't have the new lightning adapter.

This works exactly as I needed except for one thing, I have to take my otterbox case off to use it. That's very annoying.

this little adapter made my speakers no longer obsolete but it cost a pretty penny for a little plastic adapter. can't help but feel like the lightning port on newer model apple products wasn't just a ploy to force their customers to invest in overpriced adapters or in brand new accessories. cables. chargers, etc.

Needed an adapter for Lightning in order to upload pictures from my camera to a new iPad. Seeing as how I am NOT tech-savvy, this was a breeze.

WE use our Bose Docking station for music outside but it has the 30-pin connection. This allows us to use our iPhone and stream music.
