This thing comes in handy on vacations when you don’t want to bring an actual Apple TV. I’d suggest using a diff device then your phone cause it’ll be annoying to get up and constantly check it

I couldn't figure out how to view or transfer photos and videos from my Cyclops video camera (like a GoPro) to my Mac. This works great.

I got this genuine Apple adapter after going through 4 cheaper versions from Amazon. I initially went with the cheaper models to avoid the “apple” tax but after going through 4 different adapters decided to just get the one made by apple. So far after a couple months it’s holding up fine. I knocked off the 1 star because it really shouldn’t be this expensive for a basic card reader but other than that it just works.

Good reader can read the photographs and download them to both iPhone and iPad.
