My review may be biased but still 100% accurate. The Apple Mac Mini is a powerhouse. I love that it allows the ability to use the iPad Pro as the screen (when using Lumia). If you’ve ever owned a Mac or Apple product then you already know the quality you are getting. The sleek color and finish is silky smooth and emits zero noise when on. The new usb-c ports are fantastic as well!

I bought the 2018 Mac mini to replace the previous model that I had only bought less than a year prior. The difference is night and day. Where the old 2014 Mac mini would choke on just about everything, this new machine has handled every single thing that I have thrown at it, without hesitation. My only complaint is the paltry internal 128GB SSD, which I only use for temporary storage. I run the system off a larger external SSD. Also, while the RAM on this model is user upgradeable, Apple has made sure it's as difficult as possible. I ended up buying the 32GB RAM upgrade and taking it to a shop that specializes in Mac service and repair to get it installed. I just wasn't comfortable fully disassembling the computer to get to the motherboard. If you are looking to get the RAM upgraded and won't be doing it yourself, forget about taking it to the clowns at Geek Squad. They'll tell you they can do the upgrade, but when you call to make the appointment you get some sort of excuse about how they aren't allowed to touch any Apple computers (called 4 different Best Buy stores in my area and they all gave the same excuse). If you have an Experimac store near you, I highly recommend them!

I've gone back and forth between PC's and Apple many times. As a computer person you tend to accumulate bits and pieces over the years. Thats why buying a MacMini makes it so simple. you use your PC keyboard and mouse and your monitor and just plug them in the Mac mini. Everything works correctly right away and I don't even have to format my back-up USB drive to use with a Mac, it reads the files as they are. and if you feel the need of using Windows in some capacity you can do that too with a Mac. Since I've had different computers in my home over the last 42 years I think I am qualified to give an objective review in this case.

I had a laptop that from 2009 so it was time to replace. I chose the mac mini because I already had a 1440 monitor as well as keyboard and mouse. My other products are apple so the integration is a breeze. Obviously the speed and upgrades from my laptop are great. What surprised me the most is you cannot hear it when it is on. I also enjoy the versatility it provides as yes I can move the desktop around as it is so small yet powerful. I use it as a desktop for productivity as well as the central device for all my products for storage. Great device for my needs.

If you’re looking for a Mac and don’t necessarily care for a laptop, I would recommend this Mac mini, trust me when I say that it is fast enough for 95% of all computer users out there unless you’re a 4k video editor or or something that requires I high and PC. And of course if you’re a gamer this won’t do, but for everybody else it’s fast enough, it plays 4K videos, though for some reason it can only be done on the chrome OS and not Safari. Connect any monitor of your choice and I would recommend you get the Apple keyboard and mouse, and you’re all set. If you Google Mac benchmarks, this Mac mini is faster than a high end laptop that came out in 2015 with a i7 processor, it’s sleek, stylish, well built For its size. And of course you pay a little extra money just because it’s a Mac but window products aren’t as cheap as it used to be Either.

Fast machine. Don’t need anything more if you’re doing basic computer tasks. Much,much better than 2014 Mac Mini for sure. Great upgrade. Don’t forget you can only only upgrade the RAM, but not the hard drive.

So I own a MacBook Air but I can’t play sims 4 on it because it makes the system heat up. I used to use my moms old MacBook Pro but hers runs super slow because it’s so old. So I started doing some looking for something I could use for sims without it heating up. I was originally looking at PC but that’s another computer I don’t need. I stumbled upon this and was intrigued. I have it connected to my tv in my bedroom and it runs great. No heating up and no slowing down. I would definitely recommend this for travel too, I hate having to pack my laptop for travel because then I have to make sure nothing heavy goes on my bag. I love being able to just pack this and not worry about damage to a screen

We wanted a house computer but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. For our day to day use we found getting the more expensive version is not needed for us. Best thing about it is, the Mac works every time you want to use just like an IPhone. No comments at all and if I do need to upgraded I can do it myself. YouTube Mac mini upgrades

After a month of use, I can say that this little Mac is perfect. I have external storage for virtual machines if needed, so the 128GB storage wasn't an issue. For those wanting to replace their 10 year old Macs with something new and speedy, this is where you should start provided you have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse as I did. However, if your monitor is a decade old, I recommend buying a new one to go along with the Mac mini.

The only thing about this computer is that I bought it with only 8gb of RAM so my CPU was high but I just upgraded it and it’s super fast. I’m shocked about how quick it is and it’s because of the 6-core processor plus 32gb of RAM so now I’m very satisfied. I would recommend buying more RAM if you were to always use a lot of softwares and applications.

I love my new Mac mini. I think it’s much better than my old iMac. I like having a separate hard drive so that if something goes wrong with the computer screen, I can just buy a new monitor and not have to replace the whole computer. (My iMac monitor was unrepairable according to the genius people). I recommend hooking up external speakers for a much better sound experience. I tried connecting an old receiver through a USB port and the headphone jack. The USB port provides superior sound quality. I like using a receiver because I can crank the bass or treble when I want to. This Mac mini is so much faster than my old computer, it’s great. I like the Night Shift feature that greatly lowers the brightness on the monitor. It makes it easier to use the computer late at night without feeling you’re staring at a florescent light. I looked at a lot of different computers, at different stores and online and I’m really happy with this purchase. I want to give a shout out to Quinton at the Roseville store in MN. He provided outstanding customer service. I talked to another sales guy at that store about a week or so earlier and he was not nearly as helpful as Quinton. Apple consultant Troy was helpful too.

This little guy is a monster! Not to mention 8th gen i-3 is faster than the 7th gen i-5! Anyway, it's fast, takes up little to no space and has like 5 USB-C ports, bananas! I am quite disappointed that Apple didn't allow for HDD swapping..

Mini but mighty. Needed a budget friendly Mac OS desktop for home. Adequate for most home, school and small business tasks. Added a large monitor and accessories. Nice upgrade to a computer from an iPad. Not too upgradable but a nice alternative space saver workhorse.

I've been a die hard Microsoft fan forever, But of late, I've been very dissatisfied with Windows in general (and Windows 10 in particular). Having an iPad and an iPhone, I decided to try a Mac. Setup could not have been any easier, short of hiring someone to actually have done it for me. The learning curve coming from Windows was not very steep, which was very nice. And everything just WORKS.

I had a mac mini before this one and loved that thing. After almost 8 years of hard work on it, I finally got a new one and am excited to have a brand new very fast and reliable computer for a long time to come

My new Apple Mac mini is small enough to fit on a narrow shelf, fast enough to keep me woking without waiting for anything and has enough memory to accommodate thirty years of accumulated data. From the moment I turned it on, it has turned me on.

Upgraded from prior series super fast, easy to use. Apple has the best security which keeps me secure when online and not worrying much about virus. Beautiful design, low power unit with latest technology in a small package.
