although a newer mac air is now available, the late 2016/early 2017 is more than adequate for movies and internet browsing plus the larger key board area is a plus for old hands like mine. it may not have a huge storage disk but why the need when i use the cloud for storage of pics. buy it for value and quality over all others!

I am never a fans of mac because I am always a pc person, but however I am now a college student. I wanted to change it up. I have this MacBook maybe almost for two years. I never have a problem (I lied sometimes it’s hard to find my files haha) but it is never slow unlike pc where they get slower and slower.

Bought at Best Buy due to college student discount offered. Great machine ... none of the windows headaches including virus mitigation and hack forced updates. It's a keeper .... I own 3. Apple is just excellent. I am an IT professional now for 32 years. Will never go back to Windows unless they throw a free car in with the deal.

Right now we're dealing with the learning curve. Bought the Apple to replace the laptop PC. We've both had enough of Microsoft. So far we like our Apple, though on the negative side, this MACBOOK doesn't have a c/d - DVD unit. Have to buy that separate and an external hard drive as this model of MACBOOK has only 128GB of storage.

This computer was bought for my college student. Her previous computer was giving her problems and in talking to fellow students it seemed that most of them were using an apple computer and really liked them. Her sister also has one and likes it. This item was purchased during the holiday season so was able to get a good price on it.
