I replaced my recently died MacBookPro with this thing and even after two years I still don't like it. It requires a heavy touch like we had to use on the old manual typewriters. The keys are spaced badly and I sometimes hit between them. The back space key is almost as slow as molasses and holding the key down simply makes it sit there. I'm a typist so find this very frustrating. Also I had to buy an external UBS Super drive to play DVDs since the computer is my only source to play them. I don't own a TV. Also need a remote mouse because the keypad dries my fingers out. What is the sense of a laptop when you have to plug stuff into it.

Has the good feel keyboard, and very light. Good if you don't need a lot of space

Even though reviews mention that this one is somewhat outdated in features, for the average user it is more than enough. Also love those USB ports, no adapter needed as the new ones

I purchased this product for my general computer requirements. I have found it meets these perfectly. As a bonus I have been editing my GoPro videos on it using iMovie with great results.

just a great all round product. wish apple had more features like hdmi port but all in all its a solid product. Got it on sale too at the time. used to PC's but I'm still adapting to the Mac

My nephew is a high school/college student. He is able to carry this around school with no issue because of it's light weight and he can use it for all of his school assignments. He loves it!

It's perfect for texting while emailing. It's great if you're into graphic design and want a light cool looking laptop. Best Buy had a great deal- $850 for the laptop so it was definitely a steal.

Being new to Apple, this laptop was everything I anticipated and more! It takes a while to get used to (since I have only used PC), and I am still learning new things everyday! Worth the money!

Hard to get used to after years of using windows but performance seems much enhanced

Had to replace my 10-year-old Mac Pro tower and wanted something portable. The only thing I feel I sacrificed was disk space which I made up for with an external hard drive. Best of both worlds!

My first Mac lasted me 10+ years so I decided to get a new one. The Air is a bit slow and sometimes freezes on me. Other than that I love it and I'm sure it will last me 10+ years this go around!
