Received this laptop days after it was supposed to ship. When I received it, it looked great, very little dents and scratches. I pressed the power button, laptop makes “charm” noise as it turns on and then immediately shuts off. I took it to Best Buy, they basically said either to return it or try Apple. Had Apple Genius Bar look at it, they said the battery was fried and too outdated to replace. Took it back to Best Buy and returned it. Would not recommend.

I purchased this refurbished laptop about a month ago. So far it seems to be worth the money. The laptop is not perfect by any means but solid for being refurbished. A few scratches here and there (purchased a hard cover on amazon for 10 bucks) and sometimes left click button on the mouse pad is a little unresponsive which is not a big deal since I use a mouse the majority of the time. The battery life is pretty good for being used. Laptop also came with a 90 day warranty which is nice. Good school laptop.

The laptop came in really quick, and as far as the other reviews I had no issues with the functionality of it. If you are ok with a few scuffs it’ll be perfect for you! Price is great and I love the product!

Outstanding Quality. I bought this laptop for my college freshman. Needless to say, the budget is tight. The laptop looks brand new. The performance is as fast as any new Apple. We got an outstanding VALUE.

The unit I received had hardware issues and was by no means refurbished. It performs flawlessly when memory is installed only in the lower memory slot but with the same memory installed in the upper slot the machine will not boot and will not pass POST (power on self test) as evident by the 3 beeps. This is documented by Apple here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202768 The solution for me is to only use 1 memory slot, but the seller should have at least done some basic testing to insure functionality before reselling it as "refurbished." The reseller is claiming "refurbished" but it's actually just used and untested.

Make sure you receive the correct specs listed on the website. I was sent OS Lion 10.7.5 and not Sierra as listed.
