A simple to use computer so those who aren't as "technologically inclined" it is easy to use and understand while still possessing a lot of extensive capability for those who need it. Retina display looks beautiful and I was not a fan of the Touch Bar so I chose this model since it doesn't have it. Yes it is more expensive than the windows laptops with similar specs but you'll get your moneys worth. Has such a premium look and feel to it and will last forever if you take care of it.

Old faithful is still going...6 years later. Will be upgrading soon since It wont get any updates anymore.

excellent macbook pro, I am still using it and it still works like new

Can’t believe I’ve had it this long! It seems like I just bought it!

I did not realize that I needed a new MacBook until I pulled the trigger on a whim, and with an excellent sale to add. This computer is absolutely amazing and super fast. It is everything I could possibly ask for. The only thing is that the keyboard keys sound quite loud when typing, but it really is not a big deal, and my sister pointed out that it is not even as loud as my old MacBook Air, it is just a deeper noise. I absolutely love typing on the keyboard of this computer and love the Force Touch trackpad.

Ive had this mac for a couple of years and have not been disappointed. Although the fan does kick on quite loud when you play some games, but it is expected since it is not a gaming laptop or pc. Other than that, after 4 years it still runs fast, and have seemed to have little to practically little issues.

I decided to upgrade from the MacBook Air to the Pro this summer and I am absolutely satisfied with this product. I am a full time college student, so I am in constant need of a computer when it comes to getting my school work done, in addition to taking notes in class. If you are familiar with other Apple products, the Pro is very easy to use and navigate, and it comes with a decent battery life as well. I highly recommend the MacBook Pro to college students, as it is worth every penny! :)

Very good laptop, runs games well have had for 4 years

I like this computer a lot. This is actually my first MacBook ever. I've wanted one for a really long time and thanks to God, The Father I finally was able to get one. The screen is crisp. I love the loud speakers. It's a fast computer also. The set up was easy. They layout is sleek and attractive. The only problem I have with this computer is the shallow keyboard. The computer before this one was a Toshiba with deep keys so its been taking me a while to get use to the shallowness. Thats why I give this computer four stars out of five. If I could, I'd probably give it a 3 and 1/2 stars just because of the keyboard. But everything else is quite nice about this computer. I really appreciate the thinness of this computer too.

Great laptop can’t say much ave not been disappointed

The Mac is reliable and has lasted 5 years. However, it now overheats causing a loud fan noise. The keyboard is terrible I believe they don’t have the same keyboard anymore. After two years the keys e, r, and t would type as double or triple letters. Normally Mac’s last long but this one did not live up to the hype.

However, there is not much love left for this Macbook Pro. I have owned Macs in the past and I still do, I have an iMac which is fantastic, this device isn't the right Mac for me. Pros: Love thin layout, excellent display, nice and bright, mac OS Cons: It's dual core, why is any new Macbook Pro still dual core? Secondly, the fact they charge so much for RAM and Storage is kind of upsetting. No new laptop, in my opinion, should be sold with less than 256GB SSD storage. SSD storage isn't as much as it used to be, but a 256 gb storage option still adds another $200? The keyboard as I tested it in the store is very shallow, not satisfying for a user who likes a mechanical keyboard. Even the Toshiba Chromebook I am typing this review on feels like it has a better keyboard. Give us options Apple please! Make classic keyboard an option. The keyboard on my prev Mac Air was great! Why change something that is great? I understand the keyboard replacement, but at this price I don't want to be without my laptop for a bad keyboard. I want to love the Macbook Pro again. The new line seems to be a little better with slightly better keyboards and Quad Core, but I don't want a touch bar. Apple please stop giving us things we don't want. Create the things we want. Until then, I am a Windows laptop user. Some might love this device, but I can't pay this much for a dual core laptop with a keyboard that isn't comfortable to type on and may have issues in the future. To my knowledge, this gen keyboards haven't been fixed. If they have let me know =) -

I'm typing this on my daughter's three-year-old MacBook Air (which I love) as I watch my MacBook Pro's frozen "Language Chooser" screen. I never went to the Language Chooser; it's the screen I came home to. But the problem is I can't get out of it, and the keyboard isn't working. The problem with the new MacBook Pro design, as beautiful as it is, is its lack of a hard power button. There's no way to force a shutdown when the keyboard decides to stop working. I have to let the battery drain completely, plug in the power, and restart that way. Since April, when I bought this laptop, I've dealt with the same or similar issue five times. Maybe mine was built on a Friday and I'm just unlucky, but regardless, I'm not happy.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter when she started high school and she very good use of it and is now using it for college. Very good product. We are an Apple family. Yea

Computer is great and, really good build and the system does not disappoint.

I basically use the Mac Pro for accessing remotely using Citrix and it's a lot smoother than Windows including the updates. Transitioning is a little annoying due to short cut keys and snipping capability but once you got the hang of it, it's easier. Clicking is quite of an adjustment as well in the pad but not a big deal. I never thought I would enjoy using a laptop without a mouse but because it has a larger pad, it's a lot easier maneuvering with your finger thus to me mouse is not an option (which is pretty expensive). Screen size is just right, enough to do my work. Sound quality of the speakers is great as well. Overall, I have this for 5 days and I am enjoying it and buying it in a sale price including the price adjustment as it went down again is all worth it.

If you're looking for the versatility of a Mac and the build quality of an Apple Product at a low price, this is the best product. Super quick and neat, works like a dream. Has the basic specs that get on with everyday work.

I got my MacBook Pro back in September, and it's the best computer I have ever used. It's really great for school and the speed of the computer is so fast. Would totally recommend to anyone in school or who works in an office.
