I didn't know what to expect never having had an apple laptop before, but I have been blown away. I have never had a computer that was so solid. It's like a brick, not like dinky plastic and bendy thin aluminum/plastic combinations that I've seen with other brands. It connects so well with other devices and services even outside the apple brand. It blew my mind to have a built-in mail app that didn't suck! (Looking at you windows 10....) The desktop management system is gorgeous and functional and I got the one with the touch-bar. I love it! I kinda miss my function keys (I'm a computer developer) but the functionality I get with the touch bar makes up for it, especially web browsing. Screen is amazing, I still get fingerprints on it... but looks fantastic! The wide trackpad is fantastic! I just love it. Everything is gorgeous and the UNIX based OS is great for development! I want to get apple everything... but I already have google music and apple is lagging behind in whole home speaker/assistant systems (GIVE ME A HOMEPOD MINI!) I can justify the cost by the quality of the computer and the length of time I KNOW it will remain functional for me. It will be worth it getting the bigger memory! I really can't stop, I just love it so much!

Going from 15' macbook pro to 13' screen req. adjustment to get use to but the reduce weight and the battery life is worth it when travel

I have been an Apple supporter since 2007 and the updated MacBook has not disappointed me. The touchbar and Siri is an awesome addition.

Loving the new touchbar. Super easy start up. We bought this to replace an HP that crashed. We will only own MacBooks from now on.

Works as advertised. Really like the touch bar even though it's a gimmick. As much as Apple Macbooks break the bank, it is by far the best user experience on the market. I continually use Windows also and the frustration and issues that arise make Macbooks worth it. Not going to review the features because they're listed and everyone is familiar with them. However, build quality is excellent and I expect above average durability. Overall happy with purchase and you get often get what you pay for.

Bought this laptop for my husband who is a photographer. Was between this one and one $500 more expensive. The sales guy at Best Buy sales guy explained very well the difference and basically if you’re not planning on doing any videos/movies this is the perfect laptop. It’s perfect for photoshop and the touchbar is amazing!

Great laptop. Love how thin it is. Like the touchbar. Having to purchase a USB adapter is annoying however it is significantly faster than a traditional USB port.

I love the light weight and ease of transport, the impressive color screen, and ease of use. This was a great buy and I’m now a Mac girl!

Runs fast and efficiently. I expect years of the same great service from it as I still have from my ten year old iMac.

I upgraded from a 2013 MacBook to the newest and I was amazed at the power & quickness. Definitely worth the price!

Awesome computer, fast and reliable. Love the SSD. The only negative is that there are only Thunderbolt connectors.

I purchased this as a replacement for our older Mac book. This new unit is leaps and bounds better in all ways!

This is my second MacBook Pro. I gave my wife the first one I got 4 years ago because of her failing windows machine. That first MacBook had zero problems ever. My new one is a little more powerful and a larger flash drive and of course the touch bar. It's really worth the money. It simply always works well.

Just bought a 4th family MBP as converting from Windows laptops. Definitely more expensive but last a lot longer and I don’t have to spend so much time keeping them running. 1st one with the new touch bar. Just starting to learn how to use. I think it will be a good thing with time.

it has made my work assignments much easier to complete and i don't know how I got along without it.

This is a great computer but it's missing the internet and standard usb ports. You now have to buy adaptors to connect to the computer in order to use anything with USB or get land internet. Definitely a downside to the newer models.
