DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - KNOWN USB 2.0 ISSUES

There is a well known error going around where if you have a USB 2.0 device connected to it (through a dongle or through a hub), it will spontaneously stop working and the only thing that will get those accessories to start working again is to restart your computer. I am beyond furious that I paid $1700 for a computer that doesn't even do basic things. And yes, I bought Apple's adapters. I tried countless USB-C hubs. NONE of them work because it is either a problem with Catalina or there is an internal hardware defect that Apple has yet to do anything about. Google it. Do some research about the new 2020 line (MacBook Air included) doing this (dropping USB 2.0 accessories and locking up). Just today, I've had to restart my computer 4 times and I've only been working for a few hours. I do love this computer but this is unacceptable and I can't even use it because a desktop setup is absolutely vital for me. So disappointed with Apple. Back to my old Macbook Air 2013 for me until this garbage gets sorted out. PLEASE do your research on this issue before you buy!!!! There are other users who are reporting the same thing. Google "users reporting USB 2.0 compatibility issues with MacBook Pro and MacBook Air" and you will find articles on this. Apple is not acknowledging the problem and making it sound like it is user error. It is NOT. There is a problem with Catalina. Either wait it out for them to patch this or get another computer. Sit this one out until they fix it.
