I was excited to get this 13 “ Macbook pro from best buy, but as soon as I opened the wrap, I found a visible deep dent on the Alluminum. Opening the laptop itself there was visible finger print on the screen. Come on! when pay 3 thousand dollars for a laptop you expect to get something”new” let alone it’s supposed to be spotless! A deep dent in the alluminum means that this thing has been exposed to harsh situation. Such a shame that best buy sells used or damaged items as new!

Upgrading from a 2011 MacBook Pro I was familiar with the performance and features of Apple products. The new MacBook Pro is smaller and lighter which makes mobility much more pleasant. In order to get the upgraded CPU I needed to upgrade to the touch bar model which I wasn't overly fond of but turned out to be a nice and convenient feature, especially the touch id. It's fast with plenty of power to pretty much get anything done. The lack of USB ports gets a bit of getting used to but can be easily remedied with inexpensive USB to Thunderbolt 3 adapters. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a powerful laptop with great features.

My first Mac Book was purchased in 2010, and it lasted me until 2019. It still works fine, but it's a little slower now so I decided it was time for an upgrade. This new one with the touch bar is amazing!!!! I got the 1 Terabyte/13 inch and could not be happier. Apple products are durable and last forever so it's a great investment even though it may be pricey. You can finance it with a Best Buy card 0% so definitely look into getting this if you are in the market for a new laptop

i ran out of room on my MacBook Air, and decided to get something that would give me space and power for several more years - it's a pleasure to work with, I am getting used to and love the touch-bar at the top of the keyboard, and the new retina screen is superb.

You have what you pay! Yes its expensive but my last macbook pro was working good for 10 years... expensive but long last! All the components are firm and made it well, this is not a cheap laptop

I never feel like buying a quality computer is a waste of money. I buy the best Apple products I can and love that in the 32 years I have been using their products I have never had a major issue and have always had them resolved super fast. In all this time I have only lost a few hours of productivity, perhaps 5 in all. Because of work I previously had both but I had so many headaches with my non Mac computers. Working for myself, I have no time for headaches and I am so pleased with this computer. My only thought is that I probably would have preferred a 15 inch again and a tablet for portability. On the other hand, this works for all my needs.

Been happy with my MacBook Pros for years! This one's no exception - and the touch bar is super cool. Can't wait to learn all about it. Wish it had the magnetic power, but loving the multi-functional USB-C.

I am a vocal major/audio engineer minor and this is something I have been saving up for since I started school. I can’t wait to really put it to use!

I got this laptop for my wife. She does Youtube videos and needed a good, powerful computer to replace her PC. Such an improvement!

This is my first Mac. I upgraded form a Lenovo Yoga. I love the keyboard feel. Computer is fast. I installed Windows on it and run it in the side and it runs smoothly. Given this is a new product, it does not work well with my display dock. One monitor only mirrors. I like the backlit keyboard but they do not illuminate until after you type in the password. It should light up when you power it on. Macs are pricy compared to PC's but the true test will be in how long it lasts. Looks and feels like a quality product. Display is outstanding. Display bar is cool but I don't use it much yet.

I just bought this and as the first mac I have ever owned I absolutely love it...it is fast, powerful, and everything I have ever wanted in a laptop. The touch bar isn’t game changing but it is very convenient to have. Highly recommend the i7.

This is my first apple laptop and I must say that I am very pleased with it. Yes the pricing is about double that of a PC that you can get with the same specs and they will all have touch screen but I think the apple is just much cleaner and this machine moves real fast with the 16gig memory and 1tb SSD.
