I purchased the 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 Max, 48GB of memory, and 1TB SSD, and it has been absolutely fantastic. I primarily use it for software development, running LLMs locally, and photo editing, and the performance is incredible. Everything feels extremely fast and responsive, even with demanding workloads and heavy multitasking. Running local AI models has been especially impressive, and the 48GB of memory gives me plenty of room for development tools, models, and creative applications. The display is gorgeous for photo editing, the build quality is excellent, and Space Black looks fantastic. So far, there is honestly nothing I dislike about this MacBook Pro. It is easily one of the best computers I've owned. I'm also extremely happy with my experience purchasing it from Best Buy. The entire purchase process was smooth, and the customer service was excellent. If you're a developer, creative professional, or someone working with local AI/LLMs and need serious performance, I can't recommend this MacBook Pro enough!

Laptop is powerful enough to run Fusion 360 at a good rate with no lag. Can handle multiple windows open at a time. Battery life is superb. With minimal use per day can last weeks without charge. The 16 inch and haptic touchpad are also some unique features. Overall would recommend over a windows laptop if trying to get one purely for work.

Built for Music Production, excellent in everything it does and is perfect for Logic Pro obviously so 5 stars easy as it makes my productivity seamless and my workflow efficient. Bought this a year ago but just getting around to reviewing it.

I never thought that I would abandon the ibm format computer for a Mac. I have an iPhone and an iPad and they work so well together with the Mac. The 16” M4 16/40 48 1TB Mac is significantly fast and is the ticket for photo processing and video processing. So far so good in my transition. I plan to make some appointments with Best Buy for some tutoring to be able to make this transition as smooth as possible, and for me to be able to be as competent with the Mac platform as possible. Best Buy had this in stock, so there was no wait.

Excellent performance and battery life. Still amazing how much performance the M series has for the power consumption. Unified memory great for running local AI models, and as a bonus the 40 core GPU handles the little gaming I want to do with ease. If your use case is basic content consumption the Max cpu’s are overkill, the base M4 or Pro are more than enough.

Blazing fast computer with very nice screen clarity battery life is fantastic. I can use it in my office all day without charging. It is the best battery life of any laptop

Absolutely fantastic. I upgraded from a 14" MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro CPU (8 CPU 14 GPU version). The new one is about 4 times faster at Adobe LightRoom denoise which is my main motivation to upgrade. The screen is extremely good for professional applications and beautiful in video playback.

So much faster than my old MacBook Pro. The Thunderbolt ports are blazing fast (but make sure your cables and attached devices are up to snuff to get the most out of those transfer rates). I prefer the new keyboard to the one’s Apple made a few years ago.

Super Powerful! Runs power hungry programs like zbrush, adobe premiere, photoshop, maya without any issues at all. Speakers are really good! Solid bass. The screen is crystal clear and crisp! Really amazing laptop coming from windows!

The fastest computer I could ask for, it helps so much with school and my graphic design classes. The performance and multitask capabilities just make the days easier then ever.

Great and solid computer so far. I know it’s expensive but Apple products just seem to last forever. This M4 is replacing my M1 and the speed with playing games is noticeable. Gaming is the only time I ever hear the fans kick in and you can hardly hear them. The aluminum body is incredibly solid as well

Amazingly fast laptop that is sooo powerful. Looking forward to doing video editing and really anything else.since it has a 1 TB solid state hard drive. Very happy with my purchase !

Great built quality and excellent performance. I am user of windows based laptop and computer for decades. This time I tried changing to MacBook. Only down side I would say is bit bulky and weigh more. Other than that MacBook is a good choice for professional purposes..

This is overall a great computer for what I need it for. Its performance is great, sometimes a little slow on the internet, but i t hink its really only certain sites, perhaps. eith differer way, it has a lot different ports for all differet types of things. It has your charging port on the left side along with 2 type c ports and a headphone or some type of either wired earbuds or idk maybe some kinda sound thing, I am not really sure. The right side has an HDMI port, a type C port, and it has a memory card slot. Perfect for daily work on my NFP things or grants and such. I highly recommend. It is quite a bit heavier than the Macbook air m2 chip which I have had several issues with it. this one seems great so far. Very Happy 100%

So very happy that we made this purchase. The speed, quality and overall functionality has increased my productivity multiple times already. This is easily my best laptop yet.

This machine is incredible. The build quality in Space Black is sleek and fingerprint-resistant. The screen is stunning, and the M4 Max handles everything I throw at it effortlessly. It runs cool, stays quiet, and delivers desktop-level power in a portable design. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars without hesitation.

I love my new MacBook Pro! It is a very fast and powerful work horse. I exceeds all of my expectations for a portable audio recording platform - let alone a great laptop in general. I can see this MacBook lasting me for several years!

My husband and I purchased this computer for our son to replace another MacBook Pro that was several years old. He loves it and actually smiles while he is using it. He takes classes utilizing ZOOM and he is very happy with the quality. It was expensive, but we have no regrets and would buy again. If we were buying another computer for ourselves, it would be this one.
