4 starts because it's a solid device. Same reliability as any other Mac computer. But I don't use the touch bar much other than for volume, screen brightness, play/pause for iTunes, and other basic functions. For me, the touch bar is not at a convenient enough location to even want to use it over the regular trackpad. And it's not user friendly enough to use the advanced features. Even selecting a color font on the Pages app is more trouble than it's worth and you can't select a specific color your looking for. To me it's overrated. I'd recommend only to people like me who like to stay on top of gadgets and devices. NOT to the average user thinking this is a tech boost that feels like the jump in cell phones from push button units to touch screen phones we use today. This is NOT that. And Apple is still behind the game in terms of its innovation in the touch screen computer world. The touch bar does NOT satisfy the bug that wants us to own a touch screen laptop that's available in PC computers. I'd like it a billion times better it the touch bar was to the left of the track pad. For someone who uses my computer all day, I don't like to use it where it's currently located. Just so you know, I'm a decently tech-savvy student who has had this computer for 2.5 months and also owned the previous latest 2015 MacBook Pro that didn't have the touch bar. They're not much different.

Purchased as an impulse buy on a "shopping therapy" trip. I had a MacBook Pro a number of years ago and it was time for a new one. Love the bar above the keyboard that allows you quick access to various features as well as word prediction. And the speech to text is amazing. Even with my Louisiana accent it knows what I'm saying and is very fast. This feature has made writing reports so much easier.

I am a mobile DJ and this MacBook Pro is AMAZING! I have the 512 flash hardrive and almost filled up due to the thousand of music files I have and it still runs super fast! I love the USB-c as the data transfer is lightning quick. I transferred a little over 400gb from my old MacBook to my new one and it took a little over an hour as I anticipated at least 5 times that. Very impressed!

Have owned apple products for several years. iPhone, iPad,this summer husband gave me a apple watch. I decided that for Christmas wanted to purchase a apple laptop. Checked customer ratings on Best Buy website. Decided on Mac Book Pro with touch bar. very good product. Hope they make a case for it. It is a new model I am sure they will soon. I am sure the MacBook Air is also great.

I am not basically writing reviews for everything I have purchased. But this Macbook literally made me to write a review for it's beauty. So this is my first MacBook and I made this purchase over the best buy in Manhattan on 5th avenue next to Bryant park. Obviously, BestBuy people has nothing to do with the manufacturing of the product but I am just writing this review for their awesome service. So I went in there and purchased this laptop but after using few days I realized that the ENTER key of this laptop is giving me some hard time. As If I press it firmly it works, otherwise, it doesn't. So I decided to replace it with another one and went into the store again after almost 5 days, as I am an elite member of best buy I have 45 days of return and refund period after making the purchase. So I was little paranoid about what if they asked me why you are replacing it with another one or all those questions, but girl over there just asked me for the receipt and said what I really want to do? So I told her that I just want to replace this mac with another. She replaced the product right away without asking a single question. On top of that, I forgot to get the charger for my last laptop, on that she just simply took the new charger and all set. I am so glad that I made that purchase in the BestBuy for my very first mac. Thanks, guys.

I love the new computer with touchbar but it is frustrating that you have to buy an adapter to make it compatible with USB and there is no SD card slot or DVD drive.

This was a gift for a family member who is a high school senior and soon to be college student! This is exactly what he asked for so hopefully his grades will continue to reflect his awesome progress in high school and college. He loves the Mac Book Pro with the touch bar!! Best Buy was very helpful in assisting me to get this ordered for Christmas. A well please customer.

My new mac book pro is amazing I love the touch bar and how light it is

My new MacBook Pro, 13 inch, is a very slick machine. The display is just awesome, I think the best on the market. The fingerID is very convenient and the LCD touch panel is fun to use and innovative. The finish is what you expect from Apple, very high end, smooth. The battery life seems to be very good, I have not gotten close to 50% while traveling across the U.S.

Overall I struggled with making this upgrade but eventually did based on reading reviews, but also mainly due to reviews about the Touch Bar. I am not disappointed. The Touch Bar is a great added feature and apps are adding increased functionality daily. I'm impressed with it's capability today and look forward to app developers doing even more with it in the future,

I have been using Macbooks for years now, and this newest model doesn't disappoint. The touchbar with ID is amazing, and dcan really save time if used right. I love the simplicity of the USB-C ports, and have been able to get any necessary adapters for not much additional expense. Excellent computer that maintains functionality and value unlike any other!
