Open Box Glitch

Pricey, but awesome all-round tech
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display (2012) and a 12" MacBook (2015) and decided that I could live with an in-between computer from Apple. I was able to sell off the other two and have money to spare to purchase the modestly sized 13" Macbook Pro with Touch Bar. The Touch Bar, while currently slightly a gimmick has quickly worked it's way into my normal usage and I can see the benefits going forward. The screen is gorgeous. It is better than both my previous 12" and 15" MacBooks. The Price is way up there, especially if Windows is in your search. But for those that have gone Mac and won't look back it is the premium you pay for reliability in build quality and service Apple provides.

Worth the upgrade

This new macbook was totally worth it. The size is perfect for me for travel. It's super lightweight. A little annoying - the fact that you have to have a dongle with you at all times because no USB and no SD card reader.

Great product, sometimes slow

I am a college student studying physics and I use this laptop for everything including word processing, 3D drawing, coding, and spreadsheets. It has been great, except it has been a little slow when utilizing a lot of windows in Word. Also, sometimes the touch bar crashes in Messages or Safari, but a quick restart of the app fixes this. Overall, I am very happy with the power of this device considering it is a base model with no upgrades. The battery life is fine in my opinion.

Cool and thin, but a little bit expensive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The keyboard is not that hard to use as many youtube video reviews said, what you need is to spend one or two hours getting used to it and then you will love it. The touch bar is cool but I'm still trying to get used to the new operating habit after buying it for 3 days. Everything is good, only the price is not.
