I decided to downsize after years of using Mac desktop computers. This is my first laptop and I love it. Like the Mac desktop, so user friendly and goes with me everywhere.

My circumstances are different from the "tech community," some of whom have criticized this product. As a senior citizen with an aversion of Microsoft software and in need of an immediate replacement of a dying old notebook, this fulfilled my very basic computing needs with a minimum of stress and strain.

Still learning new features and best Mac thus far own two of the Mac Pro touch and have over 10 apple products. The more astute people buy apple for the simplicity of life.

I know the latest gen MacBooks got a lot of flack online, but this is a great series and I have yet to experience any issues with mine. Love it to death, and I use it daily!

I switched from PC to Mac about 12 years ago and I very satisfied by that decision. This is no exception. The touch bar is a bit pointless but it does not get in the way.

So far I am really enjoying this computer. I am taking some online classes, and have been using it non-stop since purchasing it. No problems with it as far as I can tell.

Its great. Wish it was touch screen as well.Had a little trouble with siri not working. if you have this problem hold down shift once it has restart. Shes back to new.

My son is going to college in the fall so for his birthday we got him a new laptop. The college recommendation was for the MacBook pro. He is very happy with it.

I would like a bigger screen and better sound would be nice.

Use all the typical programs with ease. Not sure if upgrade to faster processor is necessary. School discount on this one made pretty much ideal.

How can you go wrong? It's a Mac. Being the owner (or buyer) of 2 iMacs and an earlier MacBook, I knew already the Apple quality. I'll never go back to Windows.

I think the best feature I love about this MacBook Pro is that my Apple Watch can unlock it... besides all great options, it was definitely a Best Buy.

I bought this MacBook for my son for Christmas and for college. When he opened it up straight from the box, the touchbar screen was broken. Also, the battery life is very short. Other than that, the computer is fantastic and my son absolutely loves it and is using all the time.

A MacBook is always a plus when it comes to going to school because you don't need to get an antivirus so it's ready for you as soon as you turn it on.

This computer is great computer if you are a fan of apple. You can connect your iphone to it and it practically works as a phone when you are home.
