Keeps the screen protected when you are not using the Ipad, it fits tight and can be a little hard to open if you have arthritic hands

Great keyboard that also doubles as a case. One thing that would make it better would be the ability to rotate the screen to either portrait or landscape.

The keyboard technology is very good and I like the trackpad and the keys, however I wanted to use the iPad both as a computer and a drawing pad. For a computer it works awesome you wouldn't even know it is not a mac book, as a drawing pad it is unusable, the angle that it bends at is not useable for drawing. I would not recommend this item if you are trying to use the pen with it.

Doesn’t open as smoothly as a laptop when closed. But the weight balance is great. Also love the magnet features instead of snapping it into the case

the iPad does NOT tilt back far enough for everyday use as an iPad. If you plan on using this as a desktop, where it sits on a desk, and you're sitting in front of it, it may work fine. I bought a MacBook Pro to use while sitting at a desk, and I specifically bought the iPad for everyday use on the couch, in bed, placing it on the kitchen countertop (while standing and viewing recipes), etc, etc, but the case doesn't make it as easy and convenient as I hoped. This case doesn't tilt the screen back enough for you to view it properly, so I have to ALWAYS prop up the base by sliding something underneath the touchpad to see it. This requires a lot of delicate adjusting because if it is too propped up, it falls back. It's just a headache to use and I was outside of return window and couldn't return it so now I basically just use my MacBook Pro because that tilts back much further. As a side note, Apple should include a small strap that buttons or is magnetic or something to help secure the apple pen if transporting it anywhere. The magnetic connection between the apple pen and iPad is pretty weak, so it falls off if it barely gets touched.
