It does what you expect a keyboard to do. Keyboard expectations were met.

Bought this as a gift for someone and they love it. I have one as well and definitely prefer the keyboard with the numeric keypad. Bit pricey though, but it is Apple.

If you’re debating between the smaller or larger model… Here is the biggest difference. The larger model comes with front space, which is not a feature you will find in the smaller model. It looks great and feels even better.

Love this keyboard!! I originally bought the smaller one with no numeric keypad but it was so small. Love having the keypad on the side with all the extra buttons. It also charges quick and last a long time.

I bought this keyboard discounted because it was an open box item. I'm using it now to write this review. I had been using a Windows-style keyboard, which worked OK but not great because the buttons weren't the same as on my MacBook Aird. The numeric keypad is especially helpful when typing numbers in a spreadsheet or calculator or whatever. It's so much faster than looking for them across the top of the keyboard.

Typing is very good on this keyboard. Very good click feeling when typing on the keys. Visually it looks amazing. Very easy to set up and to charge. The battery life does last a long time. I've used it for a month and only had to charge it once, and that was just because I wanted to (batter wasn't very low yet).
The only negative is how thin the keyboard is. It keeps it very low to the desk and feels a little awkward and may be uncomfortable for some if you type a lot. Maybe a keyboard stand would help with this?
I would recommend this to a friend

LOVE my keyboard with the numeric add on. My all in one Mac came with the shorter keyboard, but I think it's well worth it to just upgrade. Really makes the whole set up look super nice!

i have always hated Apple keyboard with lack of numlucks and the battery issue that would constantly require replacement.
for that reason i decided to use off brand keyboards. but i found myself changing keyboards because of cheep and low quality of key that would loose the sensitivity as well as fading issue on key.
now Apple has fixed the major issue that is the battery, no more battery and it can be charged with sap IOS device chargers
i love it less waste and less wires on my desk
i just hope the key quality and fading issue will prove to be the $150 for a keyboard.
one big missing point is that you can only sync with one blue tooth device and that is so lame given how many IOS deceives apple is providing us and we keep buying, why does apple deciding to only sync with one device.
that is one BIG complain i have with this
otherwise i love the space grey keyboard and pad i just got

Great keyboard for the Mac. I mainly use it with protools and its amazing. It holds a charge for a very long time even tho I mainly leave it plugged in most of the time.
