The surface size is much bigger than built in on MacBook Pro. Function just exact same. Include haptic feedback. Noticed that battery tend to drain fast if use it constant. Use lighting cable to charge the trackpad since it have built in rechargeable battery. Con is that it’s pretty pricey. Gray cost $20 more than white.

A little different, but different can be good!

I like the difference. I would recommend it to others, as it has been definitely worth trying!

The experience of the MacBook trackpad for desktop

I had grown accustomed to using the trackpad on my MacBook and had been thinking I'd like to replicate the experience on the desktop, and the broken arm provided the opportunity. I was very pleased that the Magic Trackpad 2 allowed me the full spectrum of gesture with my left hand while I was unable to use my dominant right hand. Highly recommended if you want the MacBook trackpad experience for a desktop Mac.
