I lost my new magsafe2 and had old one so just bought the converter and did not have to spend 70 $ for the new one works great

Does what it’s intended to do. During the start of COVID I had to heavily rely on my MacBook, and OF COURSE the charger had to die on me. Luckily I had my old charger from an old model, and with the help of this adapter saved myself some money!

The MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter is an excellent solution for anyone with a new MacBook Air/Pro and a legacy MagSafe power unit.

This was an excellent alternative to buying a new power cord. It was 1/6th the cost and I don't have to carry multiple cords.

So glad when I bought a new computer I found this thing to adapt from my old cable. Sometimes I have to disconnect and reconnect for it to actually start charging but the magnet attachment is strong, and it's only a minor inconveneience as long as the indicator light comes on, it's fine

Best little accessory you can get if you have a old mag safe charger and don't want to spend money on a mag safe 2 charger which run anywhere from 40 to 90 something like that and with this inexpensive adapter I don't have to spend all that!

had an old MagSafe power supply laying around that would not work with my MacBook air. Accidentally stumbled upon this gem at my local best buy and now I have an extra charger at the house for a mere $10! Score!

If you still have the MagSafe 1 adapters and a Mac laptop with the MagSafe 2 port, this is it for you! I have about 3 of them around the house. I wish Apple had a similar solution for the current MBP line. MagSage was very elegant and secure.

I purchased this connector as I misplaced my connector that came with my thunderbolt display. Works with older MagSafe2 devices like the older Retina MacBook Pro models. As it is a genuine Apple accessory, it works without any issues.

Had this for over a month and so far so good. Plug it into the adapter and your device charges. What more could you want?

It is silly that this adapter is needed, however, this a a great device, small, well designed and exactly what I needed.

It adapts the power connector from my Apple monitors to the newer Magsafe 2 connector. Not much else to say about it.

This little connector solved the issue of needing two separate cords for my Pro and my Air. I can now use the older Pro cord with the new Air. The adapter provides a solid fit with a strong magnet that stays connected until you are ready to disconnect it. It is small and adorable and does the job.

Bought this on short notice after breaking my original charger for my laptop, but if you have one of the older mac chargers and is still in working condition, it’s cheaper to buy this adapter instead of whole new charger if you’re short on money. Attaches on easily!

I was told I would need this adaptor to use my new MagSafe power cord with my older MacBook. This was not the case.
