The phone came in good used condition (there was some scuffing around the edges and a pressure point on the screen, but that was to be expected). However, this phone must have originated in Japan or Korea, because, regardless of any phone or volume settings, the shutter noise goes off at FULL VOLUME every time a picture or screenshot is taken. This is obviously very obtrusive. I am a researcher who takes many photos of documents in quiet archives and libraries, and I can no longer use my phone for that purpose. I am frustrated that I unknowingly bought a phone with this limitation and that I, a US resident who bought my iPhone from a US vendor (I thought), will need to jailbreak it in order to silence the shutter sound.

1st phone I received was locked with someone’s passcode but thankfully the rep via the call center was great and sent out a new one so far so good !!

The phone I ordered was listed as unlocked and able to work with Verizon, AT&T, Cricket, etc. but it is actually a global/Sprint phone. Best Buy needs to list these phones with their specific model number (A1662, A1723, or A1724) so people will know for sure which phone they’re getting, and not have to rely on which service provider Best Buy claims the phone will work with.

ok condition with a few scratches on side and back but it works works great with sprint
