I purchased this Pre-owned MacBook Pro and I can’t be more happy! I have been wanting a MacBook Pro for several years but I waited because of the price. I kept buying Dell scratch and dents. Well, I really dislike Microsoft and I wanted an Apple! I am very Satisfied!!!

This a refurbed MacBook MD101LL/A, mid 2012 13 inch. The good news is that the price was reduced between the time I purchased the laptop online and when I picked it up. However, as you can see, it was advertised as having 16GB memory but it only had 8GB. I took it in and the store manager credited back about $80 which is what the memory would cost me. Everything works fine. I like this model MacBook because 1) you still can upgrade the memory 2) it has 500GB disk memory 3) it will take a CD 4) it accepts all the connectors that the new ones don't 5) it only cost about $700 6) it will run the latest Mac OS (10.14 Mojave) There are no blemishes on the case. I am not sure about the battery, but time will tell.

I required the RAM and the hard drive space, and this was the perfect choice. I needed a back-up while I take my 15.3" model to the shop for battery replacement. This computer will do the job for me. I have only one complaint. The battery for this unit is at about 76% of its design capacity. I would have thought that with a unit labeled as refurbished, a new battery would be installed. It's obvious the person who had this computer previously took poor care of the battery. Such a diagnostic should have been run and a new battery really should have been installed. Other than that, all runs well and I am not completely displeased.

Bought this so I could use final cut pro and it worked fine but after 2 days of owning it battery charge was only lasting an hour so i returned it. The product itself was amazing just had a bad battery.

I understand some scratches but several dents in the MacBook have me kinda on edge on how long this is going to last my freshman in college. It is very slow and took 10 hours to power up. I bought the same MacBook from a friend for less than I bought from Best Buy that definitely did not have the same issues. I asked about a warranty and the rep in the store couldn’t tell me what it was. Once I was home I found out that she has only a 90 day warranty.

This item is crap. Will not load latest updates and is just terrible. Please do not purchase. The same product will be sent to you.

Barely cleaned up. It is from 2012. It’s garbage. Returned immediately.

The computer itself may have been okay for its age, but it was not as described or promised. I returned it immediately. The return process was relatively pain-free though. I give customer service 5 stars as always. But don't buy this computer.

My son is really enjoying this device ,and is moving on with his music business in making beats and sounds for other people

Just picked up my "new" laptop today. Super excited, but it came with OS 10.10.3 installed. Not sure why, but the specs online when I purchased said that it would come with OS Sierra. A pain now since getting it upgraded is not straightforward.

I ordered this and went to the store to pick it up. Guess what? It turned out to be a 4GB machine with a very loose screen hinge. Couldn't believe Bestbuy would do such a big mistake. I returned it immediately.
