Customers enjoy the performance and ease of use of the Pre-Owned MacBook Pro 13.3" laptop. However, some customers reported that the condition of the received laptops varied, with some showing more wear and tear than expected. Issues with battery life were also noted by several customers. The product's overall appeal is thus somewhat diminished by inconsistencies in condition and battery performance.

Simply put this is the best computer I've ever owned. Everything about it is easy to use and very glad to be back to the Mac OS after struggling with Windows on my last 3 computers. It's fantastic for graphics and web design I'm sure I'll continue to enjoy my Mac Book Pro

This is my 3rd apple product I have an iPhone and iMac. This new macbook pro is very powerful and for the money you get QUALITY. As steve jobs said in an interview ''We can't ship junk!'' They make a superior computer compared to all other laptops on the markets. Someone said something about the intel graphics 3000 hd, The only downside I see about that GPU is that it is integrated and causes a lil more heat then you would expect on an earlier model with a separate gpu. Like they said you can't have everything. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a computer that will last them years to come and still work the way it did when you first brought it home.

Very fast & stable, comes with the Lion OS & 500GB instead of 320GB Hard Drive space. I use it everyday and everything just works great out of the box.

This is my first Mac and I love it. It is the best so far. Compared to the PC's I have owned HP, compaq, Dell and a gateway in the course of 8 years and they all were a piece of $#*@. The battery life sucked. With my MacBook I can watch movies from the U.S. to Europe with no problem. I can get about 7-8 hours of battery life. Another thing I love about my MacBook it doesn't freeze up. It can handle anything thrown at it. Never going back to PC's Apple for life.

I am an avid mac user. Switching to mac from PC in 2007 was the best thing I could of done. I can't even tell you how many PC's I was through in the years previous to that. My macbook 13inch 2007 edition still works great. It was just time for something bigger and better.
I love everything about it...runs great...looks great....works great. I would suggest anyone to make the switch to this model. And I think for what you get it is very affordable. The speakers on this thing are very much improved, as well as the touch pad, its effortless to move around the screens.

After years of using PC’s and being a Mac hater I started to change my thinking. One product started this trend and it is called the IPod. When it came time to upgrade my computers at home, both desktop and laptop I took a very hard look at Mac. This computer does just about everything a PC does and dollar for dollar costs about the same. Once I got this computer home and started to use it I realized that it is just the opposite of a PC. So it took no time at all to become comfortable with. The one thing I did notice almost straight out of the box is that it is more stable than a PC. Simply put it does not “crash”.
The display is very bright and clear. When watching videos there is very little buffering time. The Mac operating system updates regularly and seems to be tested prior to releasing updates so that you don’t have 5 fixes for 1 update.
I would recommend Mac products to anybody that wants simplicity instead of headaches. If you are a user that needs Window’s based programs you can load Windows onto this computer as well as the Mac OS. You will have to reboot the computer into either system though. However Mac’s App store also has a couple of “parallel” programs that allow Windows based programs to run with the Mac OS. The other big advantage to the Mac OS is the cost. Mac is set to release its newest OS sometime during the summer. The cost is around $30 per household.

This laptop, overall, is beautiful. The aluminum casing surrounding the computer has a nice feel to it. It is very fast, and easy to use. I have been a Microsoft user since I got into computers, but I can now officially say, the Macbook has changed the way I see computers. I was a little nervous at the price, but I talked myself into giving it a try. Knowing that I had a 30 day return made me feel safe on at least attempting it. I am glad I did and I do not regret it. I would suggest any of you who are interesting in a new computer to at least give it a try. Not to mention its great look! I mostly use my Macbook for college. It does take a little to get used to going from Microsoft, but well worth it. Give it a try. ;)

I bought this product on a whelm after my son's desktop crashed of too many viruses. I purchased a Mac Book Pro because I had learned that it was not as susceptible to getting viruses as the average PC and I wanted to learn more about the Apple world. We needed a new laptop and I am very impressed. It was easy for me to use, the keys are softer, very compatible with PC software, love the keyboard lighting for working in the dark, I love the clarity of images on screen and the many icons that are preloaded on the laptop which are the same as the IPAD and IPhone. My son is also able to use it when I allow him since I have passed my PC to him that is only a year old. However, he enjoys how user friendly it is in comparison to what we had previously heard about Apple computers. When I type notes on my IPhone, they are immediately transferred automatically to my MacBook. I am really enjoying this product because all of the Apple products are able to synchronize with one another. Awesome product. I highly recommend!

I have an older white MacBook and a Mac desktop and I needed a new laptop for school. My first and only choice is MacBook! I love all Apple products and wouldn't choose anything else. I used to have a pc but there were so many problems with it freezing and viruses, I couldn't take it anymore. In 2005 I switched it up and bought my MacBook and haven't looked back. This new MacBook Pro is so easy to use and it is lightweight so I can just throw it in my tote and go to class. The battery life is long which is great when I'm at school all day. I love that it has apps like FaceTime and I can purchase others too. the picture quality is excellent and if you like to edit pictures and make videos it has imovie which is easy and already ready to use. If you haven't tried an Apple computer check em out you won't regret it!

For years and years I considered switching to Mac, always coming back to the best bang for the buck argument. All of my programs were Windows-based. I'm a media producer and have a bunch of money sunk into Adobe Software. I'm also a gamer with a fair amount of Windows games. My caveat for the gamers is this: I bought a PS3 and stopped chasing PC gaming. I wanted a portable machine that was powerful, simple and light, and I could develop on in a pinch on the road and plug into a larger display for the majority of my development in my home office.
I waffled between the i7 15" and the i5 "13. I opted to drop four extra gigs of RAM into the 13" and it's been a stable, honest performer in the short term. I'm no Mac evangelist, but I started as an iPod Touch user, then graduated to the iPad and an iPhone and I'm now a convert.
The Mac is a dream. It's intuitive, simple, quick and simply works.
I can't wait to buy my next one so I can bequeath this one to my wife and stop playing home IT administrator in my off time.

Amazing Laptop!

My boyfriend and I bought this laptop a couple weeks ago and I have admit, I LOVE it. Yes, the price is high. They're pretty much the most expensive laptops out there. and in my opinion, you pay a lot of money just for the Apple name and not so much the technology. But, either way, Apple pulled through and makes a darn great product. It takes some getting used to after having a Microsoft PC for my whole life. But for me, it was really easy. I can Google any questions, find the HOW-TOs and I find out how easy everything is on Apple! Even the fancy ways to "Print Screen" is amazing and simple!
The most common complaint I read or hear from people is the sound of the fan when the laptop eventually warms up a bit. Well, to be honest, the fan went on for a few seconds one time so far and it was the most quiet fan I have ever heard! The Macbook also doesn't heat up as fast as people may say. Mine might warm up a tiny bit after a couple hours but the fan will turn on for a few seconds and everything goes back to normal. It's wonderful!
The second most common complaint is battery life. Well, I haven't had it off its battery for more than an hour so far, but the battery did pretty well during that time. I've heard and read that the average battery life is about 4-6 hours at one time. and in my opinion, that's pretty decent for what you get.
Overall, I love this laptop. It's my new baby and I'm taking VERY good care of it. Thank you Apple, for making such a great, easy to use product! Great for students or business, or artists!
p.s. The energy saving aspects and recycled materials is a HUGE plus and what made me want the laptop in the first place. :)

Usually not the laptop type of person as my fingers usually ache after a few hours of typing but this this is awesome!! i bought the Mac just to see what everyone was going crazy about and i also thought i would be a nice bday gift. I had planned to use it for 2 weeks then return it but i was hooked! Graphics is nice, keyboard is great, the hard drive is not noisy, laptop doesn't overheat and best of all no viruses.
I got the new version with the I5 processor and a 500 GB hard drive (even though i probably won't use all that space) and i have no regrets so far. All i have to do now is to figure how to get my g/f to use her own laptop (a PC haha). No more windows machines for me.
Apple rocks!!

I absolutely love this computer and I am glad I invested in it. It does much more than a PC. I have only met one person who actually prefers a PC but everyone else prefers a MacBook and the MacBook Pro is amazing. There are so many applications you can download to do what you need to do. The only thing, is your iPod applications cannot be played on the Mac, which doesn't make sense to me, but it's true. On the other hand you can purchase parallels for programs not compatible with Mac, but that is expensive. The language on a Mac is different than a PC, so if you have spent your life on a PC get ready to learn a new language. Hope this helps.

After my three and half year old latitude had it's second hard drive failure, I decided to make the jump. The trackpad makes everyday tasks easy with the gestures and the OS makes Windows 7 look slow and buggy and I loved Windows 7 after moving from XP. So far so great especially after my wife having an iPad and I recently upgraded to an iPhone. Apple products just work

I've been a hardcore windows user all my life and an even harder core android user for 3 years. I never would've thought about getting an iPhone or anything apple until one day i looked up videos online researching iPad for my girlfriend and i got hooked.
The "halo effect" happened with me. I got an iPhone and saw how amazing it was and thought "how good could a mac be too"? So i got a macbook. Thought it was great at first but there was a learning curve so i returned it and bought a top of the line hp laptop. Well...
It just wasn't the same. Build quality, smooth os, gestures, no bloatware, mac app store. It all adds up and the when i first got the macbook i didn't realize how amazing the whole package was. So i returned the hp laptop and bought a macbook. AGAIN.
I could not be happier. Hands down the best purchase i've ever made and even having been an objective person and "not getting to close and liking things too much", i can see why people swear by apple. I didn't think i could be so impressed with a piece of technology. Seriously. If you get one and it seems overwhelming, go to youtube. Watch tutorials. Ask around forums. When you learn about all the benefits, it's completely worth it

i bought a mac just to get away from the viruses from a windows. i bought a brand new hard drive for my windows and not even in a year, it started acting up. while i type up essay homework, the screen would disconnect from the server or the computer would completely shut down. i had no idea what was going on. i installed a anti-virus in my windows and it didn't work either. after loosing paper work and having to retype everything, i decided to go with a mac. i love love love it! what have i been missing?! i understand it's hard to deal with because i've been using windows for a looonngg time but now, it's easy and user friendly! i bought it on sale at best buy and it was the best 1200 bucks i've spent!

One of my biggest concerns with purchasing a laptop was build quality. The macbook pro just feels solid. Its an inch thick and just feels solidly put together. I decided to double the RAM so I got a chance to take it apart and see the inside. I appreciated the build quality and appearance of durability.
As far as performance goes, I was pleased when it had 4GBs of RAM. But doubling it made even better and the RAM was cheap so it worked out for me. I love the touch pad and all the swipes and actions you can perform with it. I don't know that I can ever go back to anything else.
With parallels ($50 purchase), I am able to run Windows and Linux so I am not missing any of the old software. Its like I have 3 computers in one and its just quick and painless. OSX does take a little while to get used to but I mean like a week. The learning curve is not that difficult.
Overall I am very pleased and would recommend a mac to anyone.

I've had my Mac for 3 months now and I am a very satisfied customer. It was an xmas gift that I thought of returning due to the price. But you really do get what you pay for, in a good way. When I researched and found an HP laptop that had all the same features i.e. aluminum casing and backlit keyboard it was in the same price range as the MacBooks. But I am sold on Apple products. I don't like that they sort of lock you into having all their products but it is an ingenious marketing move and it just makes sense. Their products just work together so easily like an iPod or iPad especially with cloud storage that can automatically update and send new music, documents, pics etc. to all devices linked on your account. But let me tell you why I really love my MacBook. It is just very user friendly. If you were a novice at using computers you would easily navigate a mac. It is very intuitive in how it works. Want to a copy of an online pic? Just drag it to the location you want and it copies it. Want to install a new app? Just drag it in the applications folder and it installs. Very simple. The new touch features with Lion are amazing and makes navigating web pages faster and easier. I'm so used to it I've forgotten PCs don't have that feature. I love iPhoto and most PCs aren't equipped with a photo editing program like this. It imports in a flash and saves everything in groups (called events) based on the date the photos were taken making album labeling a breeze. It also recognizes faces and tags everyone so you can easily locate pictures of certain people. You can even categorize it by location. And that is just one program. iMovie is great for editing your own footage into an amateur film with all the greta effects and easy to use editing features. There are also plenty other apps and games that are award winning and can easily be downloaded from the Mac App Store for under $30. I recommend Boom. It allows you to add a boost to your mac speakers but I wouldn't put it to the max as that might blow your speakers out. But just a little makes all the difference. Also Color Splash is great if you're into photography and Yummysoup is the best for saving recipes offline and even adding your own with pics too....The one negative I would say is that if you're a gamer you will find that most PC games don't have a Mac counterpart. However, there is a lovely program called Parallels Desktop that allows you to install Windows on a Mac and run all your programs and games that you previously purchased. So is it really a negative? No, not really. Take the plunge! Get a Mac and I'm sure you won't go back. =D

I have been a mac user for 5 years now and needed a new laptop for a new job I started. I wanted to stick with a mac for this job as well. I was originally looking to purchase the Macbook Air, but was glad I was convinced to go with the Macbook Pro! It's the perfect size and fits my needs for the job! Sometimes it's not fun using Excel on my Mac, as it can get a little glitchy at times, but I have found easy work arounds for these.
