I am always amazed at how much more the Apple accessories cost vs. Android stuff. With that said this was a great cover for an IPad given to my son. I like that it fits snugly, and that the cover can be used as a stand. My son sometimes takes it off as he complains it is a little bulky but I think the protection it provides is worth it. I didn't go with the otterbox due to it being huge and much more money. I would definitely recommend this to price conscious shoppers.

I've tried other covers but this is less bulky and protective of the product. It is a perfect fit and very easy to put it on the iPad. For people who like color options there are many to choose from. The only detractor, as with all Apple products, they are overpriced. Get it on sale. I would have given 5 stars if the product was reasonably priced in the first place.

Purchased one of the ultra heavy survivor cases for my IPad. It was heavy and made the IPad screen difficult to use. The Apple case fits great, is lighter, protects the screen, and powers the pad on and off. should have included this case when i purchased my IPad. I'm now enjoying my IPad like it is brand new.

My goal was to find a case for my iPad that would protect its body from scrapes and scratches, that was unlikely to crack at the corners, and would not add bulk. And, I wanted to continue using my Smart Cover. Not finding anything that came close, I asked a Best Buy sales person for suggestions. He led me right to the Smart Case - my goals were met. The Smart Case provides all the features of my Smart Cover and adds the protection I was seeking. It is trim, light weight, easily installed, and gives the protection I was seeking. It works for me!

I was looking for a case that didn't add a lot of bulk and weight to my iPad because I use it in a lecture environment where I can have it in hand and glance at my notes while I talk. This fits the purpose perfectly because the cover that protects the screen easily folds back flat and out of the way. I like that there is a back to this case to protect the entire iPad from getting scratched up. The cover that protects the screen has a magnet that keeps it secure and puts the iPad to sleep when the cover is on. While that cover folds back and can be used as a stand, I don't typically use my iPad in that way. I suspect it's probably not the sturdiest case you could find if that were primarily what you were looking for in a case. It's also not going to be a case that protects your iPad from a bad fall. So if you're prone to dropping it or have kids who use your iPad, this probably isn't the case for you. For what I was looking for, it's perfect.

I Like this cover a lot. I actually got it to replace a black version I'd had for years (the corner was starting to separate, leather version). It provides some protection for the screen when closed, so it can be transported easily without fear of the screen being banged into or scratched. But this cover isn't going to do much to protect the iPad in a drop or fall. It does roll up to make a bit of a prop, which is useful, though not adjustable. The best feature is that it turns the screen on and off when opened and closed. It doesn't add a lot of weight or built to the iPad, which is nice. I would recommend it to anyone needing a nice screen protector, but who isn't prone to dropping the iPad. If you need protection from drops/falls, particularly onto hard surfaces, you may want to look elsewhere.

Love this cover. Fits like a glove. Bit on the pricey side but found the value for the money. Find the cover is not a hindurance instead allows ease for any operation plus the bonus of the auto on/off feature when opening and closing cover. Great accessory.

I like the Apple Smart Case for iPad because it is much easier to hold onto and the case stays put when you are using it while sitting in a chair. I also like it when you close the case, because it puts the iPad to sleep, saving the battery charge.

Light, doesn't add much weight to the I-pad, supports I-pad vertically, soft where it faces the screen, easy to remove and reattach by magnet when desired. A little pricey, but probably worth it.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do, protects my ipad tablet, makes a good stand for it, looks good and is not overpriced like so many ipad covers are. Good value in my opinion

I love this case. It provides protection for my iPad and is easy to open and close. It doesn't weigh any more than the iPad and closes securely which turns the iPad off as well.

This is the second time we have bought the same cover for our iPad. It is not the fanciest or flashiest one out there but it has worked for us. It protects the whole iPad and the folding design lets you prop it up for viewing without having to hold; like when several people are watching a YouTube video. We would still be using the first one we bought except my wife and teenage daughter had a difference in opinion about when it was time to stop looking at the iPad and when it was time to do homework and the cover got ripped.

This case is lightweight and super easy to put on your iPad. The flap folds up to stand the iPad up. Great buy for the cost.

This is a great case. I had my last identical case for 2 years with daily use by myself & my children until it finally busted. I tried several not Apple brand case covers & hated them. Although the other covers were cheaper, my iPad was not well protected & the covers were awkward to use. I am very happy & reassured to have my iPad snapped securely into an Apple case that makes it easy to fully use the iPad. Apple knows design, I won't buy a knock off again.

Excellent custom fit for my iPad. Great color and shock protection with easy to use stand and auto on/off cover.

I purchased this model to replace a bulky one that my husband used daily for home. It is PERFECT; light weight, sleek and much more suitable for his needs. Downside: He mistakenly thought I had gifted him with a NEW iPad because I cleaned his old one, installed a new ZAGG glass invisi-shield screen protector, put it in the new case, and wrapped a ribbon around it for Father's Day. I almost didn't tell him otherwise!:-)

My wife and I used this cover for over 2 years and this is the 2nd one we have bought. We use our iPad daily and put it through a lot. The case began breaking down after about 6 months, but protected our iPad well during that time. It may seem a bit "Pricy" for what you get compared to competitors and other options, but has and will be well worth what we spent on it.

this is a great case if you don't have little kids and you are very carful handling expensive items of technology. Slim light weight and you don't have to power off your device just close the cover part of the case and puts your device to sleep and you can fold up in different positions for when you want to use it on a table.

Easy to use, lightweight, good protection, and nice color that matches the iPad.

The magnetic spring hinge is a remarkable piece of engineering. The cover cleans the screen when closed and, when folded, makes a very sturdy stand, unlike others I have used. It doesn't cover the back, but that's really not the important part anyway. Easy on and off.
