I love this product! It's helpful for reading recipes in the kitchen, watching movies on the airplane, etc.

The cover looks very clean & professional. The inside seems to be a little heavier and less attractive to dust which I like. However, the magnets don't seem to be as strong as those in my red & pink covers. Sometimes when I fold my cover back, it will just come off.

The case is of good quility. But the size of the lift for reading is to small

The look of the case is great on my iPad 2, very sleek. My iPad seems to recognize it. I did have a different brand case on it at first, but closing the cover and reopening did not function as well as with this official case. The gray color is also very nice, professional looking. Very happy with the purchase!

I have an older generation iPad & glad there was still a Smart Cover available ....love this product!

I picked this particular Ipad case because of the extra protection it gives. I plan on taking the Ipad with me on vacation and thought this would suit my needs best. Along with the extra protection I also like the fact that you can wake up your Ipad or put it in sleep mode just by closing or opening the cover.

Works great, still, on a $500 device you better spend $10-$20 on a good screen shield as this is not it.

Case works well for my iPad. Would liked to have more colors to chose from.

This is the second Apple Smart case I purchased. This light weight and durable case is designed as a perfect complement to the iPad, The magnetic on/off switch works 100% of the time. Other products have unreliable magnetic switches, tend to be bulky, and just aren't constant with the IPad's utility.

I ordered a new ipad air so i wanted to get a new case for it. i like the Apple case because it fits the ipad well without any "give," but this case does not have the plastic guard around it so I'm worried that the ipad could slip out. Good product so far...

I love the smart case since it closes my iPad and I don't have to turn it off. Well worth the money!

Doesn't stand well. Top heavy. Protects my iPad 2 well but doesn't offer the positions needed to stand on its own. The iPad turns on and off automatically which is a cool feature but could live without it. Rather have something that works as a stand

Previously I had one that had the fold back cover that was held on by magnets. It kept falling off and the did not always want to go back on. Plus eventually it did not turn off the iPad when I closed it.. This one is more permanently attached and always holds the iPad up properly when set on a table.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. I was in the market for an iPad case for a while and after I after searching I settled on the case from apple. Initially I was turned away from an apple case because I felt it was a bit expensive. But I finally caved in and bought it and am completely satisfied.

I lost my original cover for my iPad, and looked at other brands. They seemed bulkier and harder to use, so I stuck with the Apple Smart Cover. It seems a little heavier weight than my last one, but that's a good thing. I wish it came in all the pretty colors that Apple makes for smaller iPads.

This cover is slim and compact and is easy to attach and detach from my iPad. It folds to set up at an angle for easy viewing, but it would be nice if the angle was larger. Also the cover helps protect the screen but it doesn't protect the iPad if dropped.

Good overall protection. Use with iPad in home only, so I'm not so sure about traveling, but if I was, I would get a neoprene case to padding. The fit bothers me a bit, I was told it should fit my iPad, but I'm always squeezing it on the left hand side.
