Does not do what it was designed to do

A case is supposed to protect an iPad from getting damaged as a result of an accident (dropping or falling off of tables, counters, etc.). This case has not been protective of my iPad at all. For instance, today, I slipped on the ice and fell on my back. Even with this case fully in tact on my iPad and all of the books I had in my backpack (I'm a college student#, my entire screen still cracked. The crack is so bad that I can actually see the inside of the iPad if you look close enough. By definition and example, this case is inadequate by every stretch of the word. This is a warning. If you're like me #by that, I mean human#, this case is not for you. I bought this one because the only other case I could get at the time was $100. Plus, the idea of a case that I could attach and remove with ease was very appealing to me. I really wish I had bought the other case now #in case you were wondering, yes, I bought this case at a Best Buy). Don't make the same mistake I did. If you want your iPad to last, stay away from this case.
