I like the idea that Apple is designing the cases and able to user their logo on the back, etc. I dont mind paying a little extra if designed well and fits, but I am not sure what I think of the cover hinge of this full case vs. the aluminum approach on the prior cover only option. Time will tell.

This case was recommended for those of us who drop things. I have already dropped my ipad and the internal wire edging has already protected it. Sturdy, doesn't get dirty easily, and I love the feature wherein the cover flap folds up to provide a little stand.

It attaches to the iPad with magnets, which when sometimes bumped cause this cover to fall off. It's okay as far as a basic cover goes. I don't think it provides much protection. It does protect the screen when closed and puts the iPad in sleep mode when closed. I got what I expected, but it didn't exceed any of my expectations.

Got this for my iPad2 and it works great. When I take the cover off, the iPad turns on and when I put the cover back on it turns the iPad off. I also like how it rolls up to put the iPad at a great angle for typing or flip it over to use the iPad as a screen. I would highly recommend this product.

I love how this cover attaches magnetically, turns on/off the iPad when it is opened/closed, and turns into a stand to use in multiple ways. I would say that it is probably a must-have to keep the iPad protected. I think the price could probably be $10 lower, but you are buying quality.

Love it! Looks nice, shows the apple on the back. Sleek design. Dark gray doesn't show dirt. Really love the magnetic on and off feature when opening or closing. Bought one for my son for his as well.

This IPad cover does a great job protecting the screen, and it turns into a nice triangle rest so that you don't have to hold the IPad upright all the time you are using it. I would recommend it

Good product, I use it every day with my iPad. It is easy to install and protects the screen and back side of the iPad.

i like the smart cover and it helps protect the face of the iPad. It allows you to stand the iPad up horizontally,the downside, it cannot stand vertical.

I purchased this in dark gray after disposing of the tan leather one I had purchased less than a year ago. I like genuine leather but the leather covers are not polished and therefore retain dirt and oil from your hands. It didn't take long for my tan cover to get really grimy and there was no way I could clean it. I got the vinyl in a darker cover so that it wouldn't show the dirt and could be more easily cleaned, and I am pleased with it so far. It fits perfectly and doesn't fall off as I have heard from other reviewers.

Thin so it doesn't make the iPad bulky or anything. Not sure if it would really make a difference protection wise if its dropped or anything. Prevents scratches and fits well.

Nice cover. Protects device and has the convenient magnetic cover that turns the device on and off. I like the fact that the device can be easily removed and placed into the protective casing!

I love this cover. No problems with it doing what it was made for. Closes with ease, can be used for stand, and hard case to protect my IPad everyday. Could use a holder for stylus though.

Case is lightweight and slim which I like because it does not add unnecessary volume, it allows better handling. Also it is easy to clean.

It is hard to keep the lid folded to provide a ramp for better viewing of the IPad. Easy to open and close. Appears to protect the face of the IPad.

For the price I like it. It was a little confusing to figure out how to get to attach to the iPad, but after fiddling with it for several minutes, I figured it out. It isn't fancy, but it does what it was designed to do. It protects the face, turns off the iPad, and it folds up to prop the pad up for easy viewing.

Originally, I was going to make a fabric case/envelope for my iPad2. Color choices were not good at the time of purchase. I wanted to prevent scratches, dust, etc from the screen, so I chose the most suitable color (dark grey). This covers my screen (I later purchased a protective screen. I will return to the store to look at the leather covers which encase the entire device with a flip cover to the screen. Hmmm, maybe.

Great case to protect the iPad 2/3/4. Covers the whole body and looks slick, also nice that it wakes up the iPad when you open it.

The Case is a pretty cheap and effective way to protect the ipad and also serves well for a stand to watch movies and read.
