Downside is that if you are putting it into a briefcase, it doesn't offer any protection for the back of the device or against dropping it. I think most people will want a little sturdier case. Mine came free with the ipad, so I am happy to have it and still use it at times.

Has a better look. Both covers are held on magnetically and tend to come off easily when picked up by the cover. I like the thinness...makes it easy to take the iPad everywhere!
