The Apple folio is excellent protection foryour iPad Pro general use at home and transporting in a backpack. The case feels nice and adds minimum bulk to your iPad Pro and stays in place. I like the turn off feature when you close the cover. Cons no protection for edges and is pricey

I’ll be honest. In spite of nearly all of my electronic being apple products, I fully agree that they are all overpriced. However, as always, the build quality cannot be disputed. The only issue with folio other than the price is that sometimes the draw position can be inconsistent and collapse on you will drawing. Side-note: I don’t recommend the magic keyboard Or smart keyboards for the new ipad pro. The magic keyboard is super heavy, and neither of them appear to have dedicated positions for drawing. Instead I’d opt for this smart folio and use a bluetooth portable keyboard instead. I’m partial to Jelly Comb’s foldable wireless keyboard with trackpad for ~$40 as opposed to $160 or $300 for smart or magic.

Not a protective case in the drop category. But, the little flap is super handy to utilize the camera. If you want a great travel cover to protect the iPad screen, this is perfect. Not at all bulky, and it protects against light dings.

I just bought this because it was almost the only one Best Buy has in store and I wanted a case as soon as I got my iPad. I really like this case though. I am a big fan of white so I love the color plus it is easy to stand up the iPad and the pencil can be charged with the case on.

I love this case so much! It perfect for my needs. I wanted something light, protective, but also easy to manipulate like folding it horizontally. However, I wouldn't recommend it for kids as it won't be very protective if it is thrown around.

This is my second iPad, and thus my second Apple brand cover for an iPad. I did not hesitate to buy this product. It protects the iPad screen when not in use, and also folds to provide a stand when you are using the iPad. It is very well constructed to last over time.

Grabbed this to protect the device while waiting for my Magic Keyboard to arrive. It’s light, extremely easy to put on and easy on the eyes. Only downfall is it doesn’t provide side protection, but the magnets make attaching/detaching rather simple.

This folio is light and protective to the front and back of the tablet. It would not be adequate for someone who is prone to dropping their devices. There are more protective cases on the market. This, however is well made and great for keeping the iPad slim and light.

I love this case! The design is sleek and thin, which I look for in cases. Easy to put on and remove. The only downfall is the color. It can get dirty, however I also keep it in a pouch with the charger and Apple Pencil so that’s not too much of a problem.

as usual, Apple products need decent protection and this does the job. I know folks typically complain about the price of Apple branded accessories. But they do last and survive abuse.

The Smart Folio is so much nicer than Apple’s Smart Covers they released for older iPad models. It’s nicer because it covers both the front and back of the device, where as older models only covered the front. It has a nice feel to it as well.

this apple smart folio cover for the 11 inch ipad pro is awesome. it holds tight to the ipad, open and closes easily. the finish on it feels nice. the price is high compared to others that does the same thing, but you get what you pay for.

I had this same folio for my previous generation one iPad 12.9" and loved it. Easy to use and adds very little weight. Bought the new 11" iPad and immediately bought the same folio. Love it. Takes up almost no space and is extremely light weight.

I was a little hesitant about how it connects to the iPad since it's different than past iPad covers. It is secure and adds protection to the back as well as the front. It's not likely to stay in it if you drop it but the magnets are very strong.

Perfect fit. Protection front and back and doesn’t feel like a text book when you cover the iPad. Would be perfect if it has a storage spot for the Apple Pen. Pen always detaches if you put it in a bag

Bought this because it’s an Apple product designed specifically for the Apple 11” iPad Pro. This cover protects both the front & back of the iPad. When using the iPad Pro, the front cover flips neatly behind the back cover.

This case connects magnetically. It’s light weight and secure, but allows for Apple Pencil 2 connection. It protects the front and the back which is great and the front cover puts the device to sleep.

I use my iPad as a scratch paper type of thing as well as a e-reader and this case does a great job at making both those tasks an ease. While also protecting the iPad screen when not in use

It's good for covering the bottom and the screen from scratches but not much for really protecting the iPad. All sides are exposed. It's good for a lightweight protector if weight is your concern.

This is the third iPad cover that I purchased this year. I’ll never buy anything other than apple products from now on. Makes the iPad so much lighter than other covers and easy to handle.
