The keyboard functions very well and doesn't add much weight to the iPad Pro. No need for batteries or charging makes this keyboard cover a great and convenient add-on.

Great product looks perfect with the apple cover. The only thing that I would change is the keyboards they are not backlit and I wish they where. I was going to buy the Logitech keyboard instead but it Mage the iPad look bulgy and it added too much weight. The apple keyboard doesn't add that much weight and it is easy to snap off when I want to use the Apple Pencil and draw or if I just want to use the iPad as a tablet. Must have accessorie in order to have a complete iPad Pro experience.

The Gift That Keeps Your Fingers On The Keyboard

This was a gift for a relative and they wanted the keyboard. While the Apple Stores were sold out, this was the last one available in the area. The keyboard does a great job of protecting the screen and providing a typing area when the iPad Pro is angled properly. One gripe is that it doesn't integrate with the iOS operating system for providing media function keys or a home button, meaning you have to take your fingers off the keyboard to go home or use Siri. Also, it's not backlit so good luck typing in the dark. Overall it is a great keyboard, but could be better.

Won't make your iPad Pro look like a MacBook Pro

But if you purchased an iPad Pro to break away from the laptop experience, you have all the more reason to purchase this keyboard. For one thing, it's a lot lighter than most other keyboards. It also has a microfiber lining to protect your screen from scratches, etc. If you're concerned about seeing your keys at night, by all means, purchase another case, but studies have shown that looking at these blue-light devices at night messes with your melatonin production, so you shouldn't be staring at these things in the dark anyway.

I stared at this keyboard for a while thinking I had made a horrible mistake in purchasing it. I really didn't think it would hold the iPad, but it does. When I was first playing with it, I kept disconnecting the keyboard from the iPad, but holding the bottom right side of the device and pushing with my fingers. Now that I've gotten the hang of it, I am very pleased with the purchase. The keyboard has a nice feel to it and it's easy to type. I would consider this a must have for the iPad Pro.

The only keyboard to get for the IPad Pro

Before getting this keyboard, I jumped around with a lot of cheap alternatives, but they all were cluncky and big (as big or bigger than my mid-2012 13 inch MacBook Pro, the iPad is supposed to be thinner than my laptop!). I really didn't want to spend the extra on a keyboard for an already expensive device, and it was out of stock everywhere. But I saw this was recently posted as an open box discount, and jumped right on it. This keyboard has performed flawlessly, it is very thin and complements the iPad just like a Smart Cover- with almost no extra bulk! While there is not much key travel, they keys feel very nice for what they are and are clicky too. The magnet attachment is great so I can just pull it off when I don't need it. The only thing I wish it had was function keys, and maybe backlighting. But this keyboard works so well with the iPad that it is easily overlooked. The main downside is the price, as I feel it is pretty ridiculous for a keyboard to sell for this much, but it is the only keyboard that works well with this device.

I have owned and used this keyboard since I got my iPad back in 2017 and it still works well and provides great protection for my expensive tablet. I will say it is a pain in the rear to get it connected if you ever take it off. It stays on great and unfolds and folds up just fine, it is just the initial connection that vexes me. The keys are tactile enough to make using it easy enough and they are still low profile and unobtrusive. Setting it up is easy and using it is easy. The suede/fuzzy cover gets a little beat up looking, but that makes me proud that it isn't my screen getting scuffed.

This is a wonderful keyboard. It has a great touch with very high accuracy from the start. It's very high priced, but it's well crafted. What's NOT the greatest is that since it's connected via magnet, you have to be careful how you hold the tablet when it's connected. Sometimes it slips off and falls apart and your tablet could go flying. When a tablet costs $1K, that makes me nervous. You just need to be cautious and recognize that this is NOT a protective keyboard case. It's just a thin piece that connects to the tablet, so it comes off very easily. it is designed that way - and I love it! most people use their iPads without a keyboard, but if you're doing a lot of work on documents, etc., adding the keyboard is a necessity and it's really handy to have one that you can easily slap on and not have to pair.

Great product. Have had for 8 months with 0 problems. Magnet is just the right strength to keep IPad in position while typing and even if jostled a little. Unlike some other brands, doesn’t add much weight or bulk. Being always charged and ready to go without having cord is one less thing to worry about when on the go. Doesn’t appear to use much of the iPads power. Textured outer surface give me just enough grip to carry confidently in one hand. Keys are responsive and durable - no worn symbols. Case hinge area shows no signs of stress or wear. The only issue I’ve had (which seldom happens) is the upper left corner of IPad portion occasionally doesn’t seat all the way and the power button gets pushed. Even if I knew about this before hand, would still buy.

I am on my 2nd keyboard. The first one stopped functioning correctly. The space bar started working, so I had to get it exchanged. I had only had it about few weeks. This concerns me, because the next time I may not be able to have it replaced. Hopefully it was just a bad unit and this one holds up. For the review. I like this keyboard, very easy to use. I am not crazy about the way it folds. You can only type with it in one position. Typing on my lap was a little difficult, I found it worked better, if I placed a flat surface on my lap, and sat it on that. Key are easy to press, and typing is great. Very nice keyboard, love not having to charge it. I think it could have been cheaper, but overall, it is pretty nice. It would be nice if it had backlit keys, but I guess that would have made it heavier and more expensive.

I purchase this keyboard and the Logitech Create to see which would better serve my needs. The Logitech has better features but was heavy. I like how compact the Apple keyboard is and that I can quickly and easily swap it out with my Smart Cover when I do not need to use it. It is very responsive and works well. It is very expensive for the lack of features though.

This is a nice keyboard for the iPad Pro. Only thing I don't like is the price. It is not justified and in no way I can recommend the keyboard to anymore at this price. If you don't mind the price then its a nice accessory for the iPad Pro.

It’s extremely lightweight and sleek compared to other bulky keyboards. While I don’t care much for sturdier keyboards/cases that protect the iPad Pro, Apple has always been about form rather than function, depending on your needs obviously, this keyboard has met both of mine.

I wasn't to sure about this product at first. It takes a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it, its a really good keyboard. Super slim and professional look. My only complaint is you need to buy a silicone cover for the back of your ipad to protect it.

The keyboard goes great with my iPad Pro. No need to worry about pairing it, since it doesn't require a Bluetooth pairing and setup. Just connect it to the iPad Pro pin connectors, and it's good to go. No need to worry about charging it. The typing experience takes some getting used to. I also wish it back-lighting on the keys. The only issue I have is the case positions. When I use the typing keyboard mode or viewing mode, the inside part of the case is resting on the table or surface you are using. When you close the case, the part of the case that's resting on the table comes in contact with your screen when closed. If the table has small particles on it, the felt texture of the case will cling to it. Those same particles will come in contact with your screen when you close the csae. This seems to be a bit of design flaw in my opinion.
