I wanted this keyboard because it was slim and very mobile without bulk and complication. It was a bit pricy but I think it was worth it! I had the Logitech case before and it was a decent keyboard but after a week or two it stopped working and had no power.... it also seemed to make the iPad work weird but the apple one has not done it after a month of use.

Fit right up and the keyboard works great. No problems.

This keyboard is so light and easy to use. Apple knocked it out of the park with this one! It's perfect. Don't wait if you're thinking of getting one. It works well as a screen protector too when not in use. Love it!

I was a little leary about this item because of the price. It is a very high quality product and very satisfactory. It is just a little expensive but given the alternatives it's probably a must have. It combines the slim design of a smartcover with a built in keyboard. Very basic keyboard wth no backlight and little key movement as well as a lack of special feature keys like a key pad or shortcut keys. But it's slender design, durability, and combination of function without the bulk make it well worth having. It's a good alternative to a more sturdy travel case. I use this one for in the home use only.

It’s a decent keyboard. Probably the best of the bunch because it’s powered by the smart connector, light and durable. However I can’t get used to the odd spacing between the keys. Also they’re not backlit. For me it’s just uncomfortable to type. Really wanted to like it but said Lt I’ll be returning it.

I guess you get what you pay for but it’s a thin keyboard that’s expensive... If the price doesn’t bother you then this is a good, sleek and simple accurately performing keyboard. As a reminder, this will not protect the back side of your iPad. Other than that it does work great and is an Apple product!

To own a 12.9in iPad without this keyboard is to own a Ferrari that sits in the driveway, but is never driven. Oh sure you can use the iPad without this keyboard just as you could eat ice cream without all the toppings, but what fun is that?! This multipurpose keyboard / stand / screen protector all wrapped up into one makes life with your iPad that much better. Set it up to watch movies, type emails, or surf the internet. No awkward propping up the iPad on various household objects so you can binge watch Breaking Bad. And if you have shelled out the $1,000 for the iPad, spend the extra $160 to protect your screen. Well worth it.

Expensive but works great. Folds up into a compact package that provides protection for the IPad. Runs off the iPad battery so never needs recharging. Much better than using the touchscreen keyboard.

Went ahead and got it when I got the iPad Pro. So glad I didn’t skimp. Used to use Bluetooth keyboards. Never again. This is the way a Keyboard should work. Instant connection and great tactile feel. Keys are responsive and perfectly positioned. Once again, Apple does it better than anyone else.

This Apple keyboard is lightweight, super thin, uses little battery power and has great feel. It has worked consistently since I’ve purchased it. I highly recommend it for the iPad.

I use my Pro allllll the time. It has pretty munched replaced my laptop. This is a pretty nice integration of cover and keyboard, and while it occasionally gets knocked offline since I added the apple back cover, it remains a great combo. I would recommend you get a screen protector if you're using the keyboard as your cover. I got the Zagg HD Glass and that works seamlessly with my pencil. The keyboard does "dirty" the screen, but seems to stay much better with the HD Glass cover.

I was in the store ready to purchase a keypad for my new ipad. As I was comparing my options, the salesman from Apple happened to be there and was very helpful in showing me why this was my best option and I have been very pleased with my purchase. It is easy to use and props up nicely.

Would recommend this product. Easy to use, light keyboard. Holds the ipad up well when using. Only negative is due to the weight, when moving it around, it can take the cover off the iPad, due to losing the magnetic connection, then need to reinstall. If not for that problem, would give it 5 stars.

I think that overall the keyboard is working well. It does sometimes become disconnected for no apparent reason, so I will detach it and reattach . Then it eventually connects again. That has been the only complaint. The keys operate smoothly and feel good to a light touch.

This was a great addition to the I pad pro I purchased. Although the keypad on the iPad it’s self is very large, this add on also becomes a cover for the tablet as well. Well worth the additional expense since a cover is priced about$10 less than the keyboard/cover.

I use my iPad Pro as a replacement for my laptop. This has been really great because I can use more of the screen again. The only problem I've had is the magnet doesn't make a great connection sometimes. The cover will easily disconnect from the iPad when putting it away.
