If you are looking for a high resolution (2560 x 1440) monitor with a fantastic picture you can't go wrong with the Apple monitor as long as you are connecting it to a macbook or mac mini. The thunderbolt port doesn't work with regular display port so connections to this monitor from a PC are not possible unless you have one of the very rare ASUS thunderbolt motherboards.

This display has a beautiful picture & sound and an overall excellent finished product. The size makes it an asset to my business that I could not do without when working with multiple applications. The only complaint is that it will not work with my 2010 iMac, but that is only because of the advancement in technology in the Thunderbolt display (or planned obsolescence however you want to look at it...i prefer the latter).

The new screen adds a new ease of use to my Mac. It makes working with a large backlog of old photos and slides much easier to work with. The additional ports are a great help to connectivity,

You cannot currently find a better monitor. The picture is clear, and the graphics are phenomenal. If you edit photos, or just look at them, you will fall in love with this monitor. You just hook up your keyboard and mouse to the back of the monitor, and it runs them flawlessly. There's still one more USB on the back for other uses, thus free'ing up the USB's on your main computer. This is one of those purchases that you'll feel guilty about spending a lot of money on, but when you get home and turn it on, big smiles appear everywhere. You get what you pay for with this monitor, and then some. You will wonder why you kept your old monitor for this long.

The Thunderbolt replaced two double screens. It's definition is great. There's no lag between the laptop and the thunderbolt. Very easy to setup.

from crisp picture, to built in stereo sound, this monitor is an excellent companion to my macbook pro. highly recommended.

I love how clear the resolution is and how large the screen is especially when working on multiple spreadsheets.

I love this monitor because it acts like a docking station, I have my keyboard/mouse plug in the monitor via USB, my Ethernet cable connect to the monitor, and it already comes with a Meg Safe 2 charger. So when I get home from the office, all I do is plug in the charger via monitor, and the thunderbolt cable from the monitor. Then I'm ready to work and play!!!

Picture very sharp, seamless interface with my Apple Laptop, just plug in two connections and it becomes a 27 inch desktop work station. Would like 4 USB slots instead of three. It does not have a headphone jack for my Bose speakers or headphones. Had to purchase a blue tooth device for my Bose speakers, not a problem but if the iMac's come with a headphone jack why not include it on this unit? Seamless interface with Apple products. I now have the portability of a laptop and the easy of a 27 inch desktop work station....best of both worlds.

The display is flawless and extremely clear. I love using this display when I'm get home and want to "Dock" my MBP. The extra ports are extremely useful, especially the FireWire port for my external drives. The price point is a little high, but I did get the geek squad protection on the unit which lasts longer than the AppleCare warranty.

I'm a brand new Mac convert and bought this monitor along with a 13" MacBook Pro, keyboard & TrackPad. First, the screen is wonderful - the resolution - like real life. It took some time to set everything up - Mac is quite a bit different than Windows. I will say that if I had read some of the online reviews of this monitor, I would not have purchased it. I've owned it for over a month, use it daily (for hours and hours) and have no issue with the glossy, reflective screen, it refusing to wake up or any of the other complaints. I love love how easily it hooks up to my laptop without the usual tangle of wires. I did buy an app called Better Snap Tool so that I could work in split screen (wicked simple in Windows - a huge pain in Mac.) I love it so much, I plan to buy a second - just saving up my dough. Bottom line is that it's a beautiful piece of equipment and I am really pleased with my purchase.

I love this display. Ive been using it now for a few weeks and I have it paired with a hengedock. I works seamlessly with my macbook pro and I love the appearance of the display. If you are looking for a product to partner with your apple computer I'd say you've found it in this display.

I have an older Macbook Pro (2011) that didnt have an HDMI out, only the thunderbolt port. I needed an extra thunderbolt port and chose to get this display. It solved the problem and works perfectly with my Macbook. The display is also a lot better than the old monitor I was using.

Originall put off by size since larger than my iMac, but glad I did. You can use by itself to display two screens, use iMac for another. I also just use with my laptop closed and get two large screens just using the Thunderbolt. I have not even touched upon exceptional resolution.

The Apple 27" Thunderbolt monitor has been one of my best purchases in a long time, and the best monitor I've owned. I highly recommend it, The integrated iSight camera, thunderbolt pass through, very clear display, and of course the beautiful design make this a fantastic buy.

I bought this to go with a 27" iMac. The quality is great. The only change I would make is to the height. For some reason Apple didn't design it to be the same height as the iMac. I knew that going in so it wasn't a surprise. Other than that it's very nice.

I was a little concerned about buying the Thunderbolt due to some of the negative reviews. I decided that I would purchase it, and so far it is doing great. It's BIG, which I like. The resolution is excellent, and I don't need my glasses to read the type even from a distance. The only problem (really not a problem) when I use my 13" Apple pro while traveling I have to get used to the small screen again. Anyway, i can zoom in on the type, and there's always my glasses.
