Very pricey for 6-year old technology, but I have one at work as well. If history is any indicator, the quality of this monitor will outlast other monitors. I had a Dell that started losing pixels just outside of its warranty.

This is a great monitor from Apple. It allows extension of the USB ports from the computer and the built in camera quality is superb for Face-time. Pricey and being the only Apple model available for purchase are the downsides.

Very nice, has a lot of class and appreciation for the Computer world. This product is easy on the eyes and very quiet. It has preferences that can be changed to suit your needs. One AC power plug One Thunderbolt display plug and Mag safe for charging Macbook Pro, and Air. It is a very big relief that I can upgrade my Computer and use a Macbook Pro or Macbook Air with this display, I also am interested in using this display with a iMac as a second monitor for Windows with Boot Camp.

It's a gorgeous monitor, both in overall styling and image quality. The Thunderbolt setup basically turns my laptop into a desktop with the ease that PCs used to promise with docking stations, but could never really deliver. IMO, very expensive for a display, but the best you can buy for an Apple device. Typical Apple.

Bought the Apple Monitor to replace dual "24 inch" monitors and separate graphics adapter for my MBP-13. The increased resolution has more than offset the reduced screen space. The on-board power, thunderbolt, USB, and firewire connections has also reduced the number of cables on my desktop. Although pricey, glad I made the purchase.

Beautiful monitor if you have room for it. I use it for photography and there is no question when the photo is of good enough quality to enlarge. Seamless pairing with MacBook pro.

Productivity up. Extremely user friendly. Eliminates cords and wires. I was told glare is a problem, but my screen faces the backwall and I have had to focus On any glare!

We bought this for our son for Christmas and he absolutly loves it ! The moniter is super clear with a very high resolution and is very light weight for the size.

If you prefer the movability of a laptop but have times when you need to use a larger screen, a Thunderbolt display is a good option for you. Be sure to check to make sure your Mac is compatible with the Thunderbolt display before you buy it, because not all Macs are.

This screen a very big and very cool. By far, the best monitor I have have ever bought. Only thing I do not like is that it does not have a power button for when you want to power up using the laptop. I would like to power up my mac book without having to open it.

As a 1 to 1 school this allows student to plug a laptop in and have a fantastic 27 inch display, great for graphics design and other large screen apps

The display quality is simply *perfect*. It's sharp, bright, and super-responsive. The colors only shift very slightly when the screen is tilted.

Great resolution. This monitor is expensive but worth the money. It also allows me to dock my laptop and other peripherals in a seamless fashion

The Apple Thunderbolt Monitor is another example of Apple's superiority. If a great monitor is what you need, you can't go wrong with this one.

It was necessary to have two screens for my Apple Computer when I work and this Thunderbolt was just what I needed. Plug it in and it works.

The thunderbolt monitor is a great addition to the Apple Mac. Best used for multiscreen applications such as working on school papers while being able to have resources/internet searches side-by-side. Very good detail while watching movies as well. My only negative indicator is the difference in height between the thunderbolt display and the Mac. Overall, this monitor is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for most definitely.

As advertised, this Appel product delivers outstanding quality and performance in an elegant package. Connectivity features allow for clean cable routing and Thunderbolt drive connection via the monitor is lightning fast. The only ask for the next version of this product is better, more full range, sound. Sound is good and volume is acceptable but the absence of a subwoofer is evident when watching movies.

Any product apple makes it high on quality, and this display don't not fall short. Excellent plug & play. No added software need.

Big Resolution, Big Display, Big Price Tag! It also works as a docking station for my Mac Book Pro (Very Handy)

Crisp, clear images. I recommend installing f.lux software to protect your eyes from so much light, though.
