Apple doing what it does best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This display has beautiful resolution and plenty of screen area to have two applications open at once. The setup was also painless. The biggest plus is the built-in FaceTime camera as well as the ports on the back of the display. Finally, the display looks slick.

The Best Monitor Made by Apple...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great monitor and worth the cost in order to integrate with any apple computer that you own. Particularly a notebook as it has a built in power adapter. Just make sure your computer is Thunderbolt capable, display port versions won't work.

What an incredible display
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could have picked any monitor for my new Mac Mini but decided to give this one a try. What a great choice. This monitor has the most amazing display. With it's thunderbolt connectivity, it is not only extremely responsive but brings several features to its functionality.

Excellent desktop display for my new Macbook Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderfully large and easy on the eyes. Well thought-out docking capability for MacBook using just two connectors (magnetic snap power and Thunderbolt).

Incredible Display
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never in my life had a monitor as crisp and clean as this one. Apple has exceeded my expectations with this display. I even prefer it over my 15 inch retina display on my MacBook Pro.

Great size and resolution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ended up giving up on multiple monitors, adaptors, and cables on my macbook pro and switched to the 27" Thunderbolt monitor. Pros: Frees up my USB3 ports (hub in the back of the monitor), Great resolution and quality, fast. Cons: Sometimes when my computer sleeps the monitor doesn't come up. This is a known issue at Apple and there are work arounds but it is annoying for a 900$ monitor!

Pretty & Easy... and pretty easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the new monitor. The quality and the ease of connecting makes using the Thunderbolt monitor a dream. I can count on the color and resolution and adore having the additional USB ports and built in camera. Wish I had bought it sooner.

Best monitor I've owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a LaCie 324 with this monitor and I have no regrets. The cost was equivalent. The set up was extremely easy. It was literally plug & play. Other than the actual display being better the lack of any heat is a very welcome feature. The LaCie ran very warm. The Apple generates no heat at all. A very welcome feature in a small den. I highly recommend this monitor! Once you get past the sticker shock you won't regret it.

Great quality - not so good audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this as an additional screen. Like all Apple products the Thunderbolt display is exceptionally well built and designed. There was no configuration required beyond adjusting the brightness to my liking.

Worth the money!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.im really happy with this purchase, my only down side is the glare from the glossy screen can be a bit anoyying. luckily my moniter does not face a window, otherwise it would be far worse. besides that this thing is a power house of a display. the 2560 x1440 pixels blows me away. im a outdoor photographer speaciizing in wild fires. editing pictures on this dispaly put my last monitor ($300 price tag) to shame!

Best monitor you can get by pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have two of these at work and one at home. Apple has always made the best monitors but they make you pay through the nose for it. If you have a window behind you be wary of reflection. This monitor is highly reflective. The older one had a matte finish that did not have that problem, but they stopped making those models a few years ago. I still have that one at work also on a Mac Pro and its still going strong. The build quality is better than most any other monitor you can purchase at any price. And it will last a long time. My old Apple Cinema 30" has lasted for 5 years and looks like I just got it our of the box. You can still pickup the old Apple Cinema 30" on Amazon used for around $895 to $1400. But the new Apple - Thunderbolt 27" has some great features like Thunderbolt 2 which you can connect up to 6 of them on a Mac Pro or 3 on a MacBook Pro laptop.

Expensive, but worth every penny
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is worth every penny. I have it hooked up to Mac Mini. I upgraded from an iMac and much prefer having the separate monitor for future upgrades of a new Mini or laptop. Using Thunder bolt to connect to the mini leaves Port avail able on both the monitor and the computer.

Always Apple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried another brand, because it was less expensive. What a mistake!! You can always depend on products made by Apple. You get what you pay for.
