No need for cellular
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical if I would use this enough to justify the price. Well I love this watch. My wife was afraid I would use my phone more because of the watch. Well I actually use it less, bad part is half the time I check my texts and then forget to respond. I went in to buy the cellular version, but after talking to the sales rep I bough the gps version because the $70 price difference and the $10 a month wasn’t worth it since I never forget my phone anywhere and I don’t run so there would be no need for that version. I am glad I got the Nike version for the band. I deleted the Nike app and all that stuff, but the band is much cooler temp wise vs the solid band. Overall well worth the money and another great Apple product.

Was not trying to commit to much money. Turns out I love it. Don’t think I need the cellular version since I always have my phone on me, but will definitely upgrade to Series 4.

Just wish you didn't need your phone with you. The one with cellular doesn't but then you have yet another line charge

A solid upgrade from a previous series!

It's much more responsive. Esthetically there's no difference. It's all under the hood improvements. But it makes for a much more efficient use of this technology. Cellular or GPS only? You'll have to decide. But Cellular is more of a luxury than a real necessity; at least IMHO...
