I’ve had every series Apple Watch and the Series 4s 44mm is by far the best as far as size. Features and the exclusive watch face are also on point.

I was hesitant at first but now completely happy that I bought this watch it’s amazing and worth every penny!

Hit it against a wall while walking. Three months old, cracked screen, $299. Do yourself a favor, don’t get it.

Return twice after cracking it it’s very easily susceptible to braking in returning it again today after cracking it just riding around in my truck. ugh I hate the fact I have to keep driving back to Bestbuy I need to start making my own cases for heavy handed people .

I had bought two other different types of smart watch and by far this is the best.

The Apple Watch Series 4 is undoubtedly the biggest release since the original was released in 2015. The most noticeable of all upgrades is the screen. The extra 2mm in this 44mm watch appears much bigger than the older 42mm mainly due to the curve edges Footprint wise, the case is slightly larger but because it is noticeably thinner, it doesn't feel big on the wrist. It is also very nice that all older 42mm watch bands fit the 44mm. Coming from the Series 2, the speed gain is huge. The screen feels much more responsive and apps loaded much faster. The altimeter (for altitude) is also a nice addition (also available in Series 3). I am also very excited about the ECG feature. Having used the Apple watch since the launch of the first one, I can truly say that the Series 4 is a big step forward and is an excellent upgrade from those who uses the earlier models. It is also a great time to buy if you have never own the Apple Watch before. Although if you are shopping for your first Apple Watch and is on a budget then the Series 3 is still a good buy, given that they can easily be found for close to $200 during the holiday shopping season.

The watch is exactly what you'd expect. A smooth, responsive device with a large amount of apps and features. It helps keep my wife and I up and moving with the activity goals and reminders. The notifications are very nice and the ability to easily find your watch has its uses. I don't get any real use out of the Nike+ Faces or App myself, but considering it wasn't extra it's hardly a problem. I do really like the band with lots of holes which helps my wrist breath a little more than the same material bands without them. Stays very secure. My only gripe with the band is that all the holes are the same size and it can make it easy to put the peg for the band into one of the holes on the side instead of the middle but of course that's easy to fix and it's still wearable that way anyway. Compared to the very first Apple Watch it's MUCH faster at absolutely everything. Moving around, dismissing notifications, restarting, updates, literally everything.

So I am a little biased for two reasons: (1) I had an original generation Apple Watch that this replaced and (2) I am an Apple fanboy (that's right...I admit it). Ok so the review. This watch is fantastic. I work out 6/7 days a week and even on those days that I do, the battery lasts for two full days! It is responsive, the Current version of WatchOS runs quickly on the device and I actually like that the size has give up by two millimeters. coming from an OG Apple Watch, I actually notice the difference and it is significant. As far as sensitivity, I am not certain that it measures any of my workouts differently. I run about 2.5-3 miles per day and as far as that goes, the results are about the same (pace, mileage, etc). I will say that I forget to turn off a particular activity and the watch will notify me if it thinks I am not doing it anymore which is nice. Overall, I was pretty happy with the OG and only switched because it couldn't hold a charge for a full day anymore. As far as hardware and the aesthetics go, this is an evolutionary upgrade with a better overall device and clearer screen. So in a nutshell, if you need to upgrade, take the plunge and but the 5th generation (series 4). If you don't and are looking for a revolutionary model, I'd advise holding out.

Two years ago, I purchased an Apple Watch 2 - Nike+ (and loved it!). Initially, I was hesitant to jump to the Apple Watch 4 - Nike+, but I don't regret the purchase and upgrade one bit. I love the fact that the watch is slightly larger than the Series 2 but manages to get more information onto the screen. Some of the new watch faces are breathtaking and each one allows a ton of personalization. I also love the fact that emails appear on the new watch's screen exactly the way they would look if I were to view them on my phone (albeit with super small font). I love how much snappier the watch is overall (not that the Series 2 was bad...but the Apple Watch 4 is simply faster and more responsive). The haptic option for the Digital Crown is an excellent upgrade and addition. So also is the smoother button below the Crown (which is much more flush with the watch than the Series 2). Ultimately, the ECG addition was what provided the greatest enticement (for me) for the Series 4--and it doesn't disappoint. For my purposes, being able to track one more dimension of my heart health is important. I am a very happy customer and very pleased to have upgraded to the Series 4 from the Series 2. In so many ways, this is the version of the watch I had hoped the Series 2 would have been (even though I have been extremely happy with the Series 2). In my view, the Series 4 Apple Watch is the best of the bunch.

I upgraded from a first generation to the fourth. The screen is noticeably larger and the watch is overall much faster. Great upgrade and worth the extra for the larger screen.

Took me a while to get a hold of the series 4 in 44mm but finally was able to. This watch is for sure an upgrade to previous generations. I went with the Nike because it’s the same price with a different band and some extra watch faces so why not. I don’t take it off unless it’s to charge or go to sleep. The battery on this thing is great. Last me about 2 days and a half on a fully charged battery. Screen is noticeably bigger than previous. I have had the previous generations but this by far is the best.

It’s convenient and works in harmony with the iPhone. Battery lasts for a long time at least almost two days. The range works well unless there are a lot of walls. I like how I can change my music from my phone as well. It keeps a nice summary of heart rate and sleep. The sleep app had to be downloaded and it works ok. The speaker to talk to people works great and I have had no problems with them hearing me. Talking through text is also convenient. The only downside is the price, but you definitely get what you pay for. It is also easily damaged so get a protector.

Longer battery life. Way faster. Larger screen. This is a necessary upgrade if you have any other previous versions.

I upgraded from a Series 1 and the improvements were night and day. Bigger screen, better responsiveness, more accurate info. I love this watch. I also like that the display is not on 24/7 like the series 5. In move theaters, when working, and when just out and about, I don't need everyone to see what's on my watch, so for that reason I prefer the series 4. I also have read that the battery life for the series 4 compared to the series 5 is substantial. Highly recommended!

... and everyone’s invited, except that jerk, Steve. Having lofted an Apple Watch 2 around for sometime, this is a nice upgrade. Heart rate monitor is more reliable that the 2’s, and the new watch faces are nice. Slightly larger screen is a rather significant improvement, especially if you’ve got meat hook fingers like me. Two weeks out and still ticking away. Expect years of good use here.

I purchased this watch to replace my series 1 in which the battery expanded forcing my screen off. I love apple products but I'm not one to replace every time a new version comes out so I have to say I'm so glad I waited. Love the new screen size and functionality. True Apple quality and I look forward to keeping it and using it for many years. The best feature, I can go at least two days without charging. Just love it!

This smartwatch brings back the innovation that Apple originally had back in the day! The screen size is perfect! The speed of the device is greater than any of its predecessors. My favorite feature is the ekg app and it works. It notifies me when an irregular heart rhythm is active! It even has a feature through the iPhone where you can export the PDFs of the ecg to your Doctor through email. Highly recommend this.

The Apple Watch is everything I was looking for and more. The design is stylish and sleek and the many functions outstanding. The ability to change straps & face makes this a multi-faceted watch which I can wear for all occasions. Set up was seamless. Purchased AppleCare for added protection. Still pretty expensive but if it proves to be as good as I've experienced so far it will be well worth the cost.
