I've not worn a watch with any regularity in many years and after my wife got a Series 1, I decided it was worth a try. Much to my surprise, the habit of wearing a watch still feels natural. From a watch expensive, there are cheaper ways to tell the time, but this is more like a a device that does a bunch of things, one of which is tell the time. I started the process figuring I was going to just lean in to the defaults and embrace the notices and suggestions. As a result, I have become more aware of how long I sit each day for my job and take the breathing breaks. It feels like I'm building the foundation of a path to a healthier life through the gamification. The black woven band does appear to breathe easier than the entry level band, which is why I choose it. I will just have to deal with cleaning it as different fluids get absorbed by it. It is very comfortable and soft against the skin. The device shipped with watchOS 3 and I was getting through the day with 50% of the battery left. After watchOS 3.1 was installed, I routinely get through the day with more than 70% battery left, so I'm even more pleased.

Having not worn a watch since Bill Clinton was president, I was skeptical that I'd want to wear this thing every day but thought I'd give it a try. It's fantastic. I particularly like getting notifications on my wrist without having to pull out my phone, tracking my activity and heart rate, and, oh yeah, finding out what time it is. The phone call thing is a little gimmicky but has come in handy once or twice. The app screen is kind of annoying to use for someone with old fat fingers, but fortunately there's a side button dock thing I can use instead. Battery life has been great -- usually I'm at 60% or so after a full day.

That may not sound like a big deal. But, watches get wet. That was what kept me from getting the series1. A few things about this watch. It requires charging every night. Apple says it requires iOS 10, which is still a bit flaky. The watch now has an update to 3.1. The watch has some really nice integration with the iphone, tablets will not work as I assume they really want that cellular connection. I guess the big question is do you need a $500 watch to go along with your $700 phone. No, but you can now do alot of things without pulling your phone out of your pocket, like tell the time. You can also see and respond to simple texts, get directions, and see who is calling. The watch also seems to want to promote you to exercise. I cannot comment on this part. This watch also supports 3rd party watch bands very nicely instead of just the apple bands which are way overpriced.

I really like the new features of the Apple Watch 2 - adding water resistance and built in GPS along with improved battery life over the original Watch.

It’s an Apple, what else can you say really. I love apple items. Nice shape and work well. This watch has so many good features. I had not been wearing a watch since I got the original iPhone.

I love my watch. Love that it's waterproof. I don't like the band it gets dirty easily and take a while to dry when wet. The watch has many apps and is easy to navigate. I like that it has a blood pressure monitor and gives you reminders to breathe.

I skipped the first Apple Watch b/c I figured it would be a bit half baked and not ready for prime time. judging by the reviews and users' comments, I would say this assumption was correct. I figured that when the next version came out, it would have enough improvements to be more useful and responsive. I waited for a bit and picked up an open-box model from Best Buy and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The Watch does many neat things, like allow me to take calls from my wrist when my phone is t handy, respond to texts using voice to text that is fairly accurate, pay for things from my watch, check in to the gym with my watch, get directions with my watch (although this is one area that is a bit inconsistent at times) and make many other things more convenient. I would say convenience is a word that best outlines this device's utility. That, and it's a pretty decent activity tracker, which is actually why I wanted it in the first place, but then I came to realize the value in such convenience. One big thing that it's done is allow me to be able to separate from my phone a bit. I find that w/ my phone's critical features such as calling and texting now accessible from my wrist, I don't constantly search for my phone to check for notifications and thus start browsing, etc. I spend a lot more time with my face away from my phone. It's pretty liberating. While there is still room for improvements and additional features, for me, the Apple Watch is now a device with a bit more value and I enjoy having mine. Battery life is good and the convenience and high quality make it one of my favorite devices.

It's been a great product. I've been able to use it for two complete days before the battery completely drains. I bought some third-party bands that were almost identical to and way less expensive than apple's bands to give my watch a classier look. Consider doing that if you want to have a nicer looking apple watch, but don't want to pay the insane up-charge apple has for the bands they sell. It's a great alternative.

Everything was pretty easy to set up, and the battery doesn't seem to be at all limiting. Definitely a more useful item when you use it while exercising. Not needing a phone for music and GPS tracking is great.

This is the coolest thing ever! I dislike watches on my wrists but I've come to like this watch very much. I bought it on impulse because a week before I bought one for my wife and she loved it. I became very envious because she had so much fun using it. The very next Friday I went to BestBuy to get me one! It was sold out everywhere but as luck would have it, I found one! Awesome product!

This watch is amazing! The battery life is exceptional, the hand-off between it and the phone is nearly seamless, and the activity tracker is great for runs or other exercise. The only issue I have is with the scribble type messaging. It takes forever to write a message of any length, however, with some imagination, you can create pre-set messages to cover most circumstances.

After losing two fitbits, both of which fell off of my wrist ( I admit, one time was when raking leaves) I didn't want to spend more money on something that was not dependable. I have been waiting for the new apple watches to come out. I have not been disappointed. Works great, awesome features and best of all...a band I chose that can't fall off. Lots of choices and great apps

I bought this for my husband and he loves it! He loves being able to quickly sort messages based on importance with speed and accuracy.

Having the watch makes everything so simple and easy. Don’t have to take my phone out to glance at the time, notification, etc.

I love how keeping track of activities makes me push harder towards my health in terms of moving and better sleeping quality. Having notifications at hand (literally) is pretty useful. Works great with messages, even instagram. I got the nylon band and it looks not just cool, but also casual for any occasion. Great Purchase, completely satisfied!

I almost pulled the trigger on the original Apple Watch last year, but I'm glad I waited. This watch works wonderfully as a fitness tracker for me, but the feature I'm really excited about is the fact that it's completely water resistant. I don't even have to worry about it from that regard. Now I'm just waiting for Pokemon GO to come out for it.

I am loving me Apple Watch Series 2...it is prompting me to stay more active and on top of my health...it makes life easier not having to pull out my phone all of the time...I can send short messages from the phone...make a call...track fitness and it is stylish...adaptable and solid as a watch and an electronic helper...I recommend it...

At work they don't like people on the phone too much but now I can talk to it and it will either send text or voice and I don't have to constantly pull the phone out of my pocket. When I'm at the house the place is quite enough that I often make phone calls and receive them on my watch and I don't have to go grab the phone from the charger. The speaker is clear for its size. Also at the house I control my Hue lights from the Watch. I have the phone Airplaying to my home theater and I can control my music from anywhere in the house.

I'm an Apple evangelist/disciple! Series 2 ROCKS! I purchased Series 1 and dreamed of GPS-enabled and waterproof. Well, "heavens to Betsy"...that's exactly what Series 2 offers...and with so much more! Totally stoked! Design is stylish and fashionable! Developers outdid themselves with iOS 3 updates.

I really liked my original Apple Watch. It was great for tracking workouts and triaging notifications. But 3rd party applications were a complete failure. With the Series 2, and it's faster processor & bigger battery, it's like a whole new world has opened up. The same 3rd party apps (which have not been updated!) now work WELL. It's unbelievable. I love it.
