I bought the original Apple Watch Sport last year, and was unhappy with it almost immediately. So I returned it, and decided to wait until Apple released a "version 2". Well my patience paid off because Apple fixed many of my gripes with software in Watch OS 3, and the hardware is faster and more responsive. Having GPS wasn't a must, but I'll admit knowing I can go for a walk or run without my phone, and still be able to track them is pretty nice. I highly recommend the Series 2 if you are into fitness, and just want a smart watch.

after running through 3 garmin models that didn't last more than a year and a half, I finally switched to the apple watch. I was concerned about battery life. Seeing that I like to use my watch as my wakeup alarm, I was concerned about the stated battery life of 18 hours. I was very pleased to see that i have to charge it only every 2 or 3 days even using the heart rate monitor during fitness. I love that I have more access to my apps, can answer texts straight from the phone and that the connection has never faltered.

I just want to thank all the beta testers from the first generation. Now we have a great Apple Watch for the 2nd gen. I'm definitely impressed with the results and the capabilities. Waterproof, GPS, It's fast & fluid in between apps which make this the premier smartwatch on the market.

This is my second watch from apple and this new generation got a lot of improvements on software and functionality and is waterproof.

Light weight easy to use! As a woman the 42mm isn't nor does it look to big on the wrist.

I love this watch. 42mm is the perfect size for my larger than normal hands. It also looks great and it is easy to use

Battery life is unreal! I can wear it all day and it might be 75%. Now they are also waterproof and in cloud GPS!

Being a total Apple geek, I wanted the watch from the kick off. But being almost $400 and me a SAHM there was no way I was gonna spend that on something so unnecessary. Then they made it water resistant to swim with! One of my worries was not having my phone out at the pool and missing my kids school calling with problems or even missing their bus time. Now I don't worry and the watch is even more wonderful than I had originally thought it would be.

I love the waterproof apple watch. It records my swimming well and tracks the progress of my workouts.

This Apple watch is perfect for my husband who doesn't have to reach for his phone when he gets a call, etc. while working. Said it was the best gift that he ever received.

Apple watch 2 is much better than Apple watch 1st generation. much longer battery and very fast.

Excellent smartwatch. I had previously used pebble brand and switched to apple watch. Very happy with it. Easily works with my other Apple devices. Easy to learn to use. Added benefits with voice recognition, ability to reply to texts/emails in multiple ways right from device and phone calls right from device. Only downside compared to other devices I've used to shorter battery life between charges. Otherwise, great product.

A GPS sensor and better water resistance make the iWatch series 2 a serious fitness tracker

Does anyone NEED an Apple Watch? Probably not. It's an indulgence, but a really cool one. Many more tools than I thought it had, and it is a great exercise tracker and motivator. I very rarely have to look at my phone when busy at work now since I normally keep it in my pocket. And the ability to send texts and emails via audio is so much safer in the car. Great product, and better battery life than I expected.

I love this device. It allows me to track all of my info in one place with quick access. From # of steps, mindful breathing, activity, reminders to move,text messages, phone calls and more!!! When it is not convenient to have your phone in your hand, have my watch. I cannot wait to start swimming again and track this as well. And lest I forget I am able to change my watch face at a moments glance. Love it!!

My husband really has enjoyed using his watch. It has paid off for him when using it to track his workouts, messaging, and phone. Makes life a little easier.

So far the watch has been great. It makes things easier like seeing notifications instead of having to take out my phone, which is great at work. It's a bit more subtle than pulling out my phone. The band feels great but take a bit to dry when wet. I really like replying to text message directly from the watch. I would recommend this to anyone with a iPhone and looking to get a smart watch.
