So shiny and sleek!! ...at first
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Watch screen looks and feels much nicer and ya more features however somehow the “stronger glass” they use on the 5 has resulted in more scratched in a month than 2.5 years with the series 3

Not very robust
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Managed to shatter the screen during a workout... it what I expected from what is sold as a fitness tracker. I’ve had my fenix 5x for several years, it’s been in over 15 mud runs and countless workouts and looks almost like new

Less than impressive battery life
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been wearing the Apple Watch for 5 ish years or more now. It Is very frustrating to see battery life take such a hit. All the previous watches I could get 24 hours out of no problem. I don’t have much turned on for notifications and don’t really do all that much with it other than use it as a watch and strive to close my circles. Last night for example, I charged it to 100%.. went to bed around 11p, got up at 5:30a and the battery is at 50%. That’s while I’m in bed sleeping! Granted I could turn off the always on display, I shouldn’t have to. So the series 5 hardware isn’t really all that impressive when compared to series 4. My battery observations are a result of the 2 series 5 watches I own, so it’s not just a blip or a bad egg. Watch OS 6 has frustrations as well. If you’ve been using the watch to track activity over the years, the detection for things like stand goal has gotten drastically more difficult to achieve. For the most part it wants you swinging your arm like a brisk walk. I have been standing at work for hours doing various tasks moving my arm around using tools etc.. come 10 minutes to the hour my watch ticks at me that I need to move around. So I need to put down my tools and do a swinging arm walk for a minute. Very annoying. It’s not the watch, it’s the software. I always have 2 watches, the series 4s both did this as well once upgraded to OS 6. There are also what I consider long-time flaws in their workouts. I’ve complained to Apple on several occasions while using their beta releases to try and get them to address, but they’ve fallen on deaf ears. If the watch has trouble detecting your heart rate, you don’t get exercise credit in some workouts. ie, if I go for and outdoor walk many times I’m more than 10 minutes in and only gotten 4 or 5 minutes of credit. What I’ve noted as the common theme is that it is having trouble reading my heart rate, and the last time it got a reading it was say 100 bpm. So it’s like it just uses the last time it got a reading. That’s not high enough, so no credit. So I stop that work out and start an ‘other’ workout, suddenly it can read my heart rate at 120 without issue and I get credit for a brisk walk regardless of heart rate. If it can’t read my heart rate they should use a baseline of some sort and give you credit! (Like ‘other’ does) I realize the majority of my gripes are likely with the Watch OS, but the OS is a major part of the experience! Overall I am what most would consider an Apple fan, I have so many of their products and upgrade them regularly. Seeing all the 4 & 5 start reviews made me want to get my thoughts out there. My advice would be that unless you need the compass, save some money and get a series 4

Best watch so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved it easy to use. Only problem the ban that comes with it don’t hold good. I loved my watch a lot. I kept it for only three days and the watch had broke because I was driving down the road and my hand was out the window when the band came off my watch hit the ground breaking with my heart next too it. Talk about a bad day. Especially when I just payed close to $600.00 For it.

Over rated
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a replacement for a FitbitCharge 2. This has more features then fitbit. The band is too small and Apple wants $50 for an XL. What a rip off. You pay over $400 and they can't supply a band that works for you. The Walkie Talkie App does not work at all. Save your money and buy a real watch, the extra's are not worth it for this watch which will probably last less than 4 years.

Just not durable enough!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have an iPhone, then the Apple Watch is simply easy to use! Sadly, I broke the screens on 2 Apple Watches, and Apple makes them so the screens cannot be easily replaced. It is cheaper to replace the watch then the screen, and they are simply not durable! No protection plans cover the screen either.

Has some screen problems
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased and 10 days later the bottom half of screen would not stop flickering. Exchanged at store luckily within the return time but fear it may happen again. Hopefully it’s just a software issue but not good. Other than that, it’s great having an always on display. Battery life seems unaffected so far but too early to tell.

It’s an okay watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got my first Apple Watch and iphone after having Samsung watch and phone for many years. The Apple Watch is okay some things I do not like lack of watch faces and different layouts. Hate that I can’t change the pre installed faces to white background instead of black. Don’t like that there is no QWERTY keyboard for messages only option to speak or draw the letters. Also my notifications are very late on the watch vs phone. The watch is supposed to mirror my iPhone but I have to delete old messages off the watch even though I deleted them off my iPhone days prior. When using iTunes I cannot get back to certain playlists says connect to device even though I am connected. Doesn’t have very long range when apart from my iPhone. Literally living room to kitchen and the watch disconnects. I miss my Samsung active 2 watch but it Doesn’t pair well with iPhone can’t send messages with it. I also don’t like how wide the band connection to the watch is. Makes it look bulky. Overall I am not very impressed by the Apple Watch.

Nice upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a nice big watch which I like, nice gold color, nice band. Haven’t really played with it, it’s just an expensive watch I wear everyday which is funny and it makes me wonder why I bought it in the first place. Once I get to see the pros and cons, will update.

Fragile, so I bought the bumper.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the same watch as a birthday preset and it broke after a few weeks. She was heartbroken, so I bought a replacement with an addition bumper guard. Fingers crossed.

I don't get it.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an Apple product so I am not going to knock it but for me it is useless. I just don't get having a 500.00 watch strapped to my wrist and working.

Great overall watch, but poor battery life
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second Apple Watch that I have owned and overall I really like the watch. I like the features of the watch and I especially like that it tracks my activity for a day and I am able to connect it with other apps to earn credit for how active I am. I really like that the face stays lit the whole time, which is the reason that I upgraded to this watch. The battery life is disappointing though and I have charge the battery every day if not sooner.

Very disappointed with this “upgrade”
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an Apple Watch so...that part is good BUT.... This watch does the exact same thing as the 3....the always on display leaves off the second hand.. This was the only reason I wanted to upgrade, to have a second hand like a real watch. Also, took me 5 attempts to get it to connect properly, somehow it kept interfacing with my watch 3. I wanted to return it the next day but thanks to Rona...had to wait almost a month. Curbside Return was as easy as the pick up.

Battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch it self is okay. I was never able to go 24 hours without charging my watch. But I got to the point where it was twice a day. Now the battery will not work at all. I brought it in for repair and they said that it really wasn’t worth it once it’s opened it is no longer waterproof. I really think you watch should last for two years.

Difficult to set up
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had several problems trying to set this watch up the way I want it. Scheduled a Geek Squad appointment and the tech didn’t help much. Said he didn’t know much about this product. Problem is the watch doesn’t shut down at rest and drains battery in one day. Then I finally got that corrected and now it doesn’t open until I push button- won’t open when raised. I will try again with Geek Squad , but don’t have mush confidence.

NOT intuitive, Virtually NO instructions included.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For years now, Apple products have become lessand less intuative and used friendly. Virtually NO instructions included; buyers are on their own to figure out what to do and how to best use this technology. Steve Jobs INSISTED on giving his customers an EXCELLENT user experience. Steve must be spinning in his grave.
