This is my current watch and I love it. The only thing is the battery won’t last as much if you keep the life background on all the time so I suggest turn it off and your battery will last longer. I usually don’t charge my watch every day. I charge it once every three days or maybe two days depending on how much I use it.

I previously had a series 2 AppleWatch, and had difficulties getting it to function as my running watch. Although I had the "Nike" edition (which I realized was just a styling option, no functional difference with the stock AppleWatch) I could not get it to record my outdoor runs, using the loaded Nike Run Club AW app. I even made a trip to the AppleStore about 20 miles away, and they said I needed to contact Nike. Nike, of course, said it was a hardware problem. I could always get NRC to run on my iPhone, so I solved the problem with always starting the app on my iPhone, and running with it. Which made having a Nike edition watch seem somewhat silly, since that is what I had been doing prior. Eventually, my daughter's AW series 1 became disabled, and I gave her my series 2, and it served her well for a few more years. I was happy with a Garmin Forerunner. As Apple integrated more functions into the AW over the years, messaging, answering phone calls, typing and sending texts, and now Fitness+, I decided that I had punished Apple and myself enough, and decided to give the series 7 a try. It has been a joyous homecoming, including automatic recording of exercise activity. Even my Peloton rides seamlessly enter into the Apple Fitness Rings. It is too cold for outdoor running right now, -4º F (-25º with wind child) and street are icy here in New Hampshire, but I have every expectation of a seamless integration of running. Of course I missed out on recording all the miles of the past 5-6 years to add to the Nike Run Club records; but I'll cope.

This Apple Watch was easy to set up and start using. It is very durable and should last as long as it is taken care of. The screen is bright and can easily be seen. The watch band is comfortable and considering it is black definitely conceals any discoloration. The call quality using this watch is almost better than iPhone. I would definitely recommend this watch if you can afford it.

I traded in my model five for the seven. I like the shade of blue. The battery charges faster and lasts much longer. Some days I am able skip a day without changing. The exercise apps seem to be more accurate than with the model five. The larger screen of the 45 is much easier to read. Since Apple and Best Buy offered such a fantastic deal to trade up, it was worth the investment.

I have owned several apple watches over the years, and this one finally feels right. The tracking while I swim is amazing, for starters. It keeps me motivated to reach my fitness goals every day. The size and screen width is absolutely perfect. The battery life is the best of all by far, but i’d love it if it wasn’t almost dead every evening. It still needs work there.

With HearLine study (for aging boomers only), watch becomes affordable. Battery lasts about a day and recharges quickly. The Activity app does a good job incentivizing and reminding you to keep active. The basic band is a bit fiddly, but many magnetic or regular straps are readily available. It does a good job automatically recognizing workout activities (outside walks and bicycling for instance)

I just went to iPhone when the 13 ProMax was released. I have always been with Android (predominantly Samsung). I previously had three wearables (LG and two Samsungs). I loved my Samsung Active, but it just lost most of the functionality with iPhone, so I switched to the Apple Watch 7. This is easily the best watch I have had. The screen is great, as it is large, clear and easy to read. I can actually respond to a text using the built in keyboard. The keys are still tiny, but way more accurate than my previous experiences. The health monitoring features are great, as are the notifications. Like the seamless integration between the phone and watch and I know it is the same with other Apple products, even though I don't own them. Accessories are great and you can make several watches out of just one. Get a multi-packs of bands and protective cases (for way less than the price of one Apple band) and change away. I love this watch, but I know this will probably be short lived. Not because of the watch, but I just don't have the same feeling about iPhone and I miss Android. I know I will go back at my next chance, as just like I lost Galaxy Watch functionality moving to iPhone, I feel I lost phone functionality and what I enjoyed by leaving Android. Sadly, going back will mean losing Apple Watch functionality. *Not trying to be a troll. I get the seamless integration of being within the Apple universe; Just miss what I am used to...or whatever.
