It’s brighter, larger, and much easier to read in direct sunlight. On the Series 7, outdoor visibility was fine, but the Ultra 3 takes it to another level. Everything from workout stats to notifications is clearer and more glanceable. Battery life is where the Ultra 3 really separates itself. Coming from the Series 7, which usually needed daily charging, the Ultra 3 easily lasts multiple days with normal use. That alone makes the upgrade feel worthwhile, especially for workouts, long days, or travel where charging isn’t always convenient. Performance is noticeably smoother, and features geared toward fitness and outdoor activities feel more refined. GPS accuracy is excellent, workouts track reliably, and the extra physical button is genuinely useful during exercise when you don’t want to rely on the touchscreen. I finally broke down and bought an Ultra 3. Even though I will not use most of the options, the larger screen, battery life, and it is noticeably faster than the Series 10 I had. Best Buy made it an easy purchase.

The Ultra 3 was $120 off, and I also received a $250 trade-in credit for my Ultra 2, which made the upgrade incredibly affordable. Great watch at an awesome price. GPS accuracy is excellent, and having cellular connectivity without needing my phone is a huge plus. This is my first Apple Watch and I'm still learning about all the things it can do. About one month after I got it I had a health issue and lost consciousness and fell. My watch called the paramedics for me and got me into the ER. Now I don't want to go anywhere without it! I wasn't too happy with the band and replaced it right away.
