Definitely recommend AppleCare when buying any Apple product. If you need it once, it's usually paid for itself in that one time. Had to use it twice within a month for my daughter and the Apple Store made the situation easy and fixed the device for a nominal fee.

A must with active students! Bought two laptops and two MacBooks thus far with protection plan, one more to go in a few more years. So far only one repair needed for a chipped screen, worth the money! Buy a good backpack to protect your investments as well!

I recommend to have this just in case anything happens to your device. This comes very very handy . Especially if you spill anything on it or accidentally drop it or some one sits on it. I highly recommend, it's better to be safe then sorry.

If you purchase a a MacBook you MUST HAVE THIS! I have only had mine for a few months now and my puppy knocked it off the counter and cracked the screen. I dropped it off at Best Buy and payed a small deductible and two weeks later my laptop was brand new! It pays for itself immediately!

We purchased this for a laptop we bought one of our kids for their remote learning. It is gods peace of mind having the additional protection especially when they went back to in person class and she is taking the laptop to school.

My son uses this for his homeschool, and stem projects. The graphics are beautiful and so sharp. It works flawlessly, and is such a great change from pc. I can see this computer serving him well for a very long time.

Apple care is the best deal out there. Without the coverage accidental a are full price with it it’s only a partial and they allow 2 replacements per year. With laptops being so old the next day it’s always a great option.

My representative made sure that I didn’t cut any corners with my purchases and recommended that I purchased apple care protection. I am beyond thankful that they actually care about me after the purchases of my product !

I am always afraid that my boyfriend is going to break something on the computer when he is away on work and the Apple care has really kept me from getting too stressed out! It is also great if you have kids around the electronics!

It is a very good option for people to use Apple Care because it would be very helpful for people like me as first time Macbook users in regards to questions and answers about technical functionabilities, etc.

Trust me, you don't want to be without it. If something goes wrong, and lets face it electronics have issues, you want to have AppleCare. I purchase it for my iphones and other apple products. Definitely worth it

While Macs are already so expensive and adding on a hefty-priced protection plan seems too costly, I think it's ultimately worth it based on my past experiences with Apple repairs. My first MacBook had a long AppleCare plan and I'm glad I bought it because it covered me when the rubber bottom fell off, when the hard drive unexpectedly died, and when my charging port stopped functioning. All of those things were covered and I didn't even have to pay a service fee after visiting the genius bar. I didn't buy AppleCare for my iPad because I thought to myself, "I've never broken a screen on anything before and it's going to be in a protective case!" and lo and behold, I pull my ipad out of my work bag one day and the screen is shattered. Because I didn't have AppleCare, the genius bar was going to charge more than what I bought the (brand new!) iPad for. I contemplated just buying a whole new iPad at that point! So I believe it's worth it to get AppleCare on big things that are going to be costly to repair without it. Just make sure to read the fine details of what is or isn't covered in your plan before buying, because they've changed their coverages in the past few years. It's definitely not what it was ten years ago, but it should still save you some hardship if something catastrophic happens to your protected device.

My whole family had MacBook products and I am so happy that I was able to purchase my laptop and have this protection go along with it. It’s nice to know that my laptop is covered for the next 3 years.

I am a college student, and just purchased a MacBook Pro. Getting the apple care, is such a relieving thing considering I could drop or spill something on it, and I know it would be taken care of! If you're buying a new MacBook, I highly suggest you get the AppleCare!

I have purchased and I continue to purchase Apple products from the early iPods and iPhones to several computers including MacBooks and iMacs. And I always include AppleCare as part of my purchase. I cannot list all the times this extended warranty has paid for itself. My daughter iPhone fell into a puddle while she was jogging. AppleCare replaced it. My son’s MacBook Pro had a processor fault that could not be remedied. AppleCare replaced the computer’s motherboard. My iMac experienced a hard disk drive failure. AppleCare covered it. What I also love is the quality of US-based product support I get from Apple over the phone. When I have a problem I can always reach an advisor and the folks who answer my call are usually able to fix it, right on the spot. How often do people get that kind of customer service experience? So for me, the bottom line - AppleCare is definitely worth it. So get it!

Having AppleCare is like having an extra lifeline. It’s a must if you have any Apple product. Service is top notch and everything is fixed to specifications. If something isn’t working, it’s taken care of.

I usually don't buy the protection plans that are associaed with my purchases but in this case the sale rep took the time to review all of the benefits of this plan for my new MacBook. Since it's going to college, it was an easy decision to purchase the plan!

Worth the money. My sons key came off the keyboard. The only way to replace it was to replace. Whole keyboard. It was free under Apple care.
