The heading is as good a description as a longer one might be. The basic AppleCare+ insurance is a no-brainer to me. The cracked screen typically happens with me 2-3 times, during 2 years. However, Apple has increased the cost due to OLED screen on the front and a glass back. Certainly their replacement cost has increased for materials (OLED front screen) and likelihood of breakage (on glass back that used to be metal). So, although AppleCare+ is more expensive I still bought it at $199 — ouch! To add lost or stolen insurance is an additional $100 for a total of $299. When combining the replacement charge of $259 as a deductible if someone exercised the “lost / stolen” warranty, the combine cost is $558 out of pocket compared to about half the price of the current phone’s price — now at $1,150. I had two iPhones lost / stolen in a recent 2 year period. Prior to that I had 1-2 others lost / stolen. For me that is 2-3 phone lost / stolen in a 15 year period. That’s one every 5-8 years long-term history, or 1-per-year in recent history. Additionally, I have had 2-3 iPads lost / stolen in the past 5-7 years but only once was it not recovered. However, EVERY lost / stolen phone / iPad occurred associated with AIR TRAVEL travel, which I am not currently doing, and hope not to do as much in future. Will it happen again. Maybe.

I had apple care plus way back on my iPhone four. My speaker on that phone stopped working after about a year. I took it to the Apple store and they promptly exchange my damaged phone for a new one. It is because of this care I continue to buy apple care plus every time I buy a new iPhone.

Due to the high cost of the MAX XS phone, I decided it was worth the cost of AppleCare. Now, a couple years later, I wonder. But I haven’t needed to use it. However, when you pay over a thousand dollars for a phone this brought peace of mind.

Totally would get the warranty for every electronic device I buy from them. So that I can have peace of mind knowing that whatever product I buy it's well protected!

Great deal. I don’t have to worry too much if my phone is lost or stolen. I know I’ll be able to get it replaced. Luckily I’ve never had to use it.

This extra warranty is well worth the price, I hope we never have to use it, but for the price you can’t beat the protection!!!!!

This will cover any damage under the sun, alien invasion...check. Water damage, check. Fire damage, yeah you get the point, and even covers if it’s stolen, as long as you have find my phone turned on, so being a pessimist and then also buying a phone case and screen protector, I probably would’ve used it already but I was overly protective so I guess if you buy the standard protections, skip it or at least buy the more basic, but if you want o let it all hang out definitely get it if you have butterfingers or are clumsy at least once out of two years.

Yes, I purchased the AppleCare theft and loss for my iphone 11 Pro Max 2 year plan. If you care about unfortunate possibilities, and or the other day to day,happenstances that are confronting us today. Then,AppleCare+ is a No Brainer must have and the price right too.

I own several Apple products, with Apple Care+. But, I haven't had a chance to use any of them. But, having known how Apple replaces the item than repairing the item, I preferred to buy this plan.

Apple care might be a little expensive, but getting this insurance would be a great option for you and your child. If they lose their phone it's covered once you pay the $250 fee to get another phone. Yes it sound expensive, but it's worth it in the end.

Purchased new phone and picked up the AppleCare. It has always taken care of us. Sometimes you don't use it but having that piece of mind is well worth it. I know my daughter has used it and it has saved us more than once.

This is pretty expensive for phone insurance. However it’s better safe than sorry when it comes to an expensive iPhone. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and paid $1,300 so with that said it’s well worth the nearly $15 in monthly payments.

Defiantly better than sprint insurance plan. You don’t have to worry about replacement being refurbished device plus if you never make a claim during the 2 years you get 90% refund. You can’t lose.

I love apple care! I would not have an apple product without it. And this has theft and loss included. Apple and Best Buy honor this and you can't get better coverage or service. Highly recommended!

I would never buy an Apple product without Apple Care. It's protection for your purchase, and they're very reliable and knowledgable with any problems that you may have.
