    Best Buy and AYS continue to be unresponsive, unreliable and indifferent. I purchased over $4k in appliances and have been waiting since 8/19 for a simple in home survey for a cooktop. Best Buy has not stepped up to cover the poor performance of its ONLY service vendor in the mid Atlantic region. AYS has already been scheduled to perform the work 3 times but has either shown up unannounced, cancelled the appointment themselves or plead inaccurate information to schedule a new appointment. Not sure I am done sharing my experience bc even after talking with 3 BB associates face to face and being assured it was being addressed I am still waiting for a pre measure. More 1 star ratings to come I guess.

    I am so far really enjoying this oven. It replaced an older GE oven so I went with them again as they guaranteed it to fit in same position. Overall it works really well - i love all the features - highly recommend.

    Kitchenaide double oven site survey

    We were concerned about our new Kitchenaide double oven fitting properly into the place occupied by an old Whirlpool double oven. The site survey worked extremely well and answered all our questions and made for a flawless install of the new Kitchenaide

    My space for a refrigerator is fairly small. I was worried about finding a refrigerator that would fit. The one I chose was very tight. The gentleman was very accurate with his measurements. He reassured me and gave me peace of mind. It fit perfectly the first time.

    The Geek Squad Appliance Site Survey Pre Measure was a bit inaccurate on the time they were actually going to arrive, but I was happy that the size of the stovetop range is compatible to the space needed.

    Extremely disappointed with Best Buy’s in-home service. I scheduled an appointment and made time in my day, but no one ever showed up. No call, no update, no explanation. I waited for hours and ended up having to follow up myself, only to be told I would need to reschedule. This is completely unprofessional and a huge waste of time. If you can’t rely on a service to even show up, what’s the point? I expected more from a company like Best Buy, but this experience has definitely made me rethink using them for any future services.

    Disaster Install

    Product was available and oven arrived on time in good condition. PreMeasuring by the installers was completed three days prior to delivery and unit was approved for install. However, the oven was to be installed by the delivery team. They informed me the premeasurement was wrong, the oven would not fit the opening, they would normally make a cut to enlarge the opening but did not have a reciprocating saw with them to remove an eight of an inch from a finished wood cabinet. So they simply put the unit in my garage and left. One of the installers spoke passable English, the other spoke none at all. Trying to communicate about the measurements was difficult. I called to the customer support number for a new install date team. I had to repeat my situation with multiple reps located in a South American call center. The subcontractor they chose repeatedly ignored the arrival days and times Best Buy gave me. The last attempt was a complete no show. No one called, no one ever came, and Bo one followed up. Then out of the blue I got a call from the Haul-away team to get my old oven unit. I told the technician that it had not been removed. He said “are you sure, the system says the new was was installed”. The “system” that you will hear many times from Best Buy is a patchwork of onshore and mostly overseas call centers that don’t follow up on what they promise….with one exception. They finally agreed to refund the installation and haul away charge and did so. They thought I should be pleased, until I reminded them that those services were never provided in the first place……big deal. So after almost a month the unit is still in my garage and I’m trying to arrange for a local installer. BTW…. When I went to the local Best Buy and asked for help from the store manager they did nothing but hand me a brochure with the same number for customer support I had used all along. The company seems to be desperately trying to keep up with Amazon and other major on line suppliers, but are failing badly. One CS rep told me this situation was not there fault since they contracted out to have it installed and it was the contractors issue. When I asked for a direct number for the contractor they refused to give it out. So, if you’ve never seen the underside of a bus, buy your next appliance from not so Best Buy and they’ll throw you there. Can’t rated the product since it’s not installed. Hope this helps others to not have to go through what I did. I won’t even conjecture what happens if I have a warranty issue and have to resolve that through this customer service disaster.

    The low rating regards the utility of the visit and not the technician that arrived for the visit. The tech was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. The measurement of the cabinet opening for replacement double oven was challenging and required removal of the existing double oven for accuracy. We could have used suggestions of craftsmen who were willing and able to make the necessary adjustments and strongly suggest that BestBuy strive to make this possible.

    I have not used my oven and microwave yet. I feel sure that they will work satisfactorily. My microwave is small for the opening. It is about 4" short. The screws are not set in properly. They look as if they could come out of the cabinet. The company premeasured. We will go to Best Buy tomorrow to advise them of the problem.

    The Site Survey team was very thorough and professional. Measured our cabinet AND the new oven combo that was scheduled for return sitting in my kitchen. Previous delivery/install team had determined it wouldn't fit based on KitchenAid "depth" requirements - they didn't measure the oven combo to confirm actual unit fit dimensions but understand they came to install not measure everything. After complete evaluation of my cabinet and detailed measurement of the appliance, it was easily installed without issue!

    My first scheduled service for an appliance measurement was a no show. The guy was running late. He called and left me a message and then I couldn't reach him. The second time, the men came and measured, but couldn't really advise me if the appliance that I was interested in purchasing would fit in my home. Then I got phone messages and emails stating they were coming out again to measure. I never requested the service so I had to call to cancel the erroneous appointment. This measurement service is a great idea, but not without glitches.

    Our new dishwasher is very good and both the pre installation visit and the actual installation went very well and was excellent. We almost bought a dishwasher from Lowe’s but the pre- installation visit was poor and the information given us was wrong

    My space for the refrigerator is awkward. Many of the homes of this style have had the walls removed. My home had added cabinets on the wall that would have allowed room for a larger refrigerator without removing walls. The workers carefully measured the space more than one time and gave me the measurements and the recommendations for a fridge. For real I remember when the ice man came to my home to put a block of ice in my ice box. Ok I was a child but look how far refrigerators have evolved for me. I hope to get an amazing modern refrigerator with these accurate measurements. They did a good job just make sure one of the workers are good communicators who arrive from the company.

    This was a key step in the buying process. Did not want to choose am cooktop that required major modifications. Team arrived on time and measurement took away all uncertainty. We did not need any modifications. We are now enjoying our new cooktop!

    I'm not sure what you mean by site survey/pre-measure. The guys who came did not do any of that. They delivered the oven and first said they couldn't install it they then said they couldn't put it on a bench to make it easier me to install into the cabinetry. After discussion, they said they would and did. BTW, my purchase date was 01/31/22 NOT 9/22/22
