I was looking for guidance to get, install a new range and range hood in my home. I didn't end up getting any recommendations that I could use. Part of the challenge was I needed the granite/cabinets customized to fit a new slide-in. I ended up going with a major hardware vendor who had a partnership with a contractor to get it done.

The pre measurements were completely incorrect. When the stovetop we ordered arrived and was in the process of being installed, the installers determined the cuts to install the stovetop could not be made and the unit would not fit. We had to return the stovetop which we waited four weeks to have delivered and installed. Complete waste of time. All the while, customer service was a nightmare to deal with and the majority of the time was completely unhelpful and non accommodating.

This was for a pre-order measurement service performed by Jeremia Foote. He was very knowledgeable and cordial.

The Geek Squad person was an expert in appliance measurement and installation. He clarified the building code for over the oven microwave clearances. Turned out that we will not need to move our cabinets after all.

This was very worthwhile! We would have purchased the incorrect size for a new refrigerator.
