Purchased a GE over the range microwave and added the installation charge of $139.99. I received many emails regarding prep and time, finally they settled on 1000-1400. Installers arrived at 0830 during my breakfast with no advance warning. I stopped my meal, cleared the stove and the proceeded to do the installation. The install was done to my satisfaction but I had to clean up the mess they made. I also received an automated voice call at 1225 the same day advising me of the time of 1000-1400. The need some better coordination and I expected more for the price I paid.

Bought the first one the 3rd week of January '22! Defective!
The replacement was installed the 1st week of April. Do the math. However, I do have to say the delay was worth it. It is loaded with sensors that measure the amount of food your heating / cooking, and so far, everything has been really good. It also is able to convection cook. I think that this has got to be one of the most attractive machines on the market today.

This is a great service for those of us trying plan to replace a built in appliance. I need to replace a built in oven and was unsure about which ovens would fit in my space. Measuring the size of the opening required the removal of the existing oven and I did not know how to do this. So this services was very helpful. It was easy to schedule the appointment, the guys arrived on time and I received the information I needed to then evaluate the options that would fit in my space.

Buying my refrigerator was a o.k. experience when it came to delivery that was a nightmare. Talk to someone in India, Mexico and Parma thats between Columbia and Costa Rica I'm in the a USA. First they said they emailed a confirmation # then said they did not. They had my phone # wrong corrected that. The delivery driver was nice and got it installed quickly. His advice in the future call 1800bestbuy do not use the google #'s provided for each store.

Zephyr Ombra 36 in. A site survey was conducted before the hood is installed. The technicians conducted the survey in a professional manner and considered OK to installed. However during the actual installation, the installation team found that the duct work didn’t fit the existing configuration and needed to cut out a hole on the ceiling and then I have to pay for repair the ceiling at extra cost, which so far has not been done. Even there is a site survey, it is no guarantee that the appliance can be installed without additional cost. As it is a free service, no harm to get it done.

The installation measure team took out the cooktop and in-cabin microwave to get the dimenson. But the cooktop still not fit and the install team still need to cut my counter top.
Some number not illeigible in the dimension and BestBuy appliance consultant not recongize it. Also the measurement only has basic depth, length and wide. It does not have the micowave cover so the consultant still came to my home to measure the cabin to make sure the cover will fit.

Unacceptable Site Survey

No one showed on scheduled day. Had to reschedule for 2 days later.
Even though we had the site survey, the man missed that the gas connection kit ordered did not match our gas hookup AND that our water valve was incorrect for a dishwasher hookup. Should have been very apparent to an inspector doing a site survey as we did not even have cabinets installed yet. Installer noticed both issues immediately.
Also - inspector missed that the outlet for double oven needed to be moved for better access …luckily cabinet installer noticed prior to cabinet delivery.
Footprint of cabinets, plumbing, and appliances stayed the same and old cabinets had been removed…all of these issues should have been caught easily by a knowledgeable site surveyor.
