Needed this to do a drive clone from one drive to another. The software that came with it didn't help, so I ended up finding some elsewhere.

This product worked well for me and I would recommend it to anyone.

I ordered a new SSD for an old computer but needed and easy way to create a new system image. This kit did just that, fast and easy with no hitch. It even has advanced functions to allow tailoring of the install if necessary

This product worked just as described, quality is good and I actually kept it since I use it alot to switch out my older harddrives with the newer ssd drives on all my laptops.

I got this device/cable because I needed to get data off of a hard drive from a laptop that was dead due to water damage. This cable worked great! Let me access my drive and copy off all the relevant data that I needed.

I bought this just wanting a transfer cable and not any software. This was all that was available. It turned out your couldn't use the cable unless you installed the software. Then it identified the SSD as a drive under it's own branding making it impossible to use Samsung's software to clone your new drive. I was able to return it after some argument but it turned out all of Best Buy transfer cables have software. ended up going to Amazon.

I decided to upgrade my hard drive to a solid-state drive and did research on what program they use this one was so easy did not erase the old drive was just what I was looking for it Took less than 20 minutes to complete

I love this item! My MacBook stopped working due to a mobo so I went and bought this cord to finish my school project. I plugged it into me desktop and continued my day as normal! Great product!

Super easy to use, duplicated my hard drive so I could swap it out with no issues whatsoever. It also very easily let me wipe the old one after I removed it.

If you want to move large amounts of information or clone your hard drive into a new drive having one of these is a must. I have used it several times already moving information from one drive to another. Very useful.

I purchased this when a laptop of mine began to show signs of hard drive failure. Before it failed, I used the transfer cable to clone by hard drive to a new SSD. Worked as expected.

This worked well for what I needed. I still ended up downloading the 3rd party cloning software because the software on this cd was not working for my MacBook.

used to clone my HDD to SSD with Samsung Data Migrating tool. didn't need the disk. the adapter worked well. just plug into SSD and into my 3.0 usb slot.

Used the cable to clone my hard drive, but did not use the software that came with the cable. I used instead a free software that is well known with a 30 day free trial.

I use this adapter to upload and download data from my SATA drives to my other devices. This is also a useful tool for formatting SATA drives when you use them for the first time.

The Apricorn software and transfer cable made the job of changing from an HHD to a SSD drive pretty easy. The cable was essential and the software worked better than some I had found for free on the internet

Worked perfect for cloning my HDD to my new solid state drive, but I did not use the software that it came with, I would recommend using what ever cloning software the new hard drive tells you to use

This device made upgrading our laptops to SSD hard drives as easy as pie. The actual hardest part of replacing the hard drives was unscrewing the laptop cases. Great product.
